UTILIZATION

Easy to use, however, it will nevertheless an hour to familiarize themselves with the pedal and the large effect used (such as phase loop for example if we had never used before)

SOUND QUALITY

Very good quality for a pedal, it certainly has nothing to do with a pedal unit (eg metalcore pedal will obviously a much better simulation of core integrated pedal sound) I currently use with 4 guitars a jackson king V for melodic death sounds rather access a jackson kelly are rather heavy for a gibson SG sounds blues / rock as well as a Dean razorback 7 strings.

OVERALL OPINION

Here is a little over two years since I use it, I is not got nothing to complain about so far, it is both very versatile while maintaining sound quality for each distortion / effect imposed. Very good quality / price ratio. If I had to go back again I would reiterate this pedalboard.

So much for those below! Good lot of stuff incomprehensible to say that it is provided; except that there is no loop, it could be useful.
The looper is a little short I think, but given the number of opportunities available is not very serious.

UTILIZATION

Well it is a true multi effect pedal so it should be clear: we must learn to use it! Takes a little while to try.

After use is quite fun is provided: We all front panel controls what is practical and fast! You turn it changes.

I used it in front of a tube amp (contrary to what people think, it gives very good sound so well mastered), loop and the Return preamp. For my part I think the sound is better on a lamp that warms the thing pretty well.

The expression pedal is solid with several features (Wah, Voice, Whammy, Delay Level and Volume) that make it useful, addictive limit!

Everything is in a metal case very nice and enjoyable.

SOUND QUALITY

Then it's very diverse!

+ For me:
- Delays (numerous and of good quality with a wide range of delays)
- Chorus
- Flanger
- Octaver (if not too triturated)
- Tremolo (can be a bit steep)
- Disto / overdrive (when mastered)
- Comp abused without
- Double Converter <-> Single coil
- Reverb
- Wah wah
- Preamp EQ

The -:

- Whammy and Harmonizer really too drafts, especially harmonizer that even monophonic share in c *** lles times when it's her job!
- Simulations amp lame for me, I hardly use the preamp EQ with distos
- Phaser too far
- Some distos that puke too (eg Core)
- Modern Fuzz (not a negative review but a warning)
- Slight dissatisfaction with the length of the loops (30s), but it is generally highly enough!

OVERALL OPINION

I since 2011 (I know specifically) and he just fail so I replaced with a Blackstar HT5 for the apartment so I used my usual pédal board

In my humble opinion this is a good product that makes many services (especially in the apartment with headphones) and that is good! We must not expect EXTRAORDINARY things, we must bring what it is and its price. In its category I find it very good

OVERALL OPINION

I could have not been around for over two years that I have.
I do not do together.

I love the possibility to put the batteries, plug in headphones, take my guitar and go play outside in a field in front of a nice view.

The multitude of effects and adjustments to be busy for long hours.
There are sites with given by each and other settings.
Records of presets are easy and can put a good package (see instructions)

Not being a pro, I like it. I did not find much "my ultimate sound" but that's because I do not play enough and do not have the opportunity to try a whole bunch of stuff!
I think it is a good approach to start which was my goal.
I alternate, especially for recording with effects on my PC with a sound card.
I do not regret my purchase one second.

UTILIZATION

if you know use pedals ..... not be easier!
the manual is by no cons ... Boss is his reputation ... so for some function to look for a bit but in the end it remains anecdotal.
AC takes about 30 seconds to make a sound.

SOUND QUALITY

jOperation fairly preamps but the two things: they are drawn from the gt10 and cover a wide range of sounds, there is not "cocked wah" effect present ... unlike some preamp present on the gt10 .. after you like COSM or not
the knob is very reactive and will work .... definitely NOT like the original amp!
for short, the quality of the effects is good and totally satisfying!
reverbs are counted in number but only two are fully usable!
the chorus is OK as most other modulation effects, one might wish for more settings in depth but the key is to allow the AC and not spend his life "tweaker" ... Line6 is for that!
the wah is nice, above my expectations in fact, as I never expect anything of this wah on multi ...
the delay is good too, and offers a lot of opportunity (0-6 seconds, notes ... etc)

2 more:
It is this delay in the modulation section so it can be used when the looper (which is in part the delay) is active, saw boss =) ... the settings are a little smaller though.
It is possible to have chorus and flanger at the same time as there is a preset delay, chorus + delay in the game, so if we set the delay to 0 there are only small downside chorus ... all the same we can not change the settings of the chorus.
the distortion: very little in the end compared to other MFX ... 10 ... but all well and used without problems (I do not know where does the previous review), even at high volume it sounds good .
the 4-band semi-parametric eq: very very useful for adjusting the sound of some distos =) very good idea Boss as inclusion in the preamp section
the comp / fx part: I have not used any but the compressor is not bad, the simulation pickup works pretty well, the solo boost is useful .. the rest I do not use it.
I use it with a humbucker guitars, godin, lag, gibson in the return leg of a combo of a homemade 4x10 (EH 2 + 2V10)

OVERALL OPINION

it's been almost 15 years since I played and I have had dozens of multiFX whether the line6, vox, zoom, digitech, boss, tc electronic .. etc. ... the latest being the gt10 ... I specially'm not a fan of this small but boss ME70 is almost flawless in my opinion ...
you do not spend 6 months to settle a crappy sound that market and provides a place ... we play!
Boss grease is unadorned and above .... it works!
it is intended to be a multi play on an amp 90% of the time, which is set in minutes and can cover almost all situations, from funk to death metal!
sometimes sound a little digital ca (not as ca anyway) ... a little less gain, a little bit of eq and the problem is rule!

2 minus: jaurais prefer that have only a manual mode as to access a certain function must press two pedal at a time ... for example MOD + LED changes from manual to memory of the fashion ... suddenly not disable two effects at the same time!
no adapter ... boss gives us six batteries! ah ah! not very serious because jai already in one spot and does it work very well with but good anyway! why not add a few euros and provide live AC adapter ...

short, an excellent value for money and this report ME70 will certainly become a must for anyone looking for a simple and effective trick.

with a tube amp c is not bad, but the bulk of the use for me c is the direct sound, and c is very convenient for repeat.

UTILIZATION

Use in "pedal" without saving presets. I use both in rehearsal than at home or in concert with a couple fender strat U.S..

The settings are really simple and amp models useful for working with headphones and adjust and its effects in either. on the other hand, in concert, if you play on a good amp on stage (I have a blues junior), modeling sounds really not that great, especially for clear sound.
The case is really solid for two years, I have not abused badly in concert and répéition and no scratches or knobs lost!
It's solid!

Level playing comfort, and partly because I am a singer guitarist, I would have preferred that the expression pedal is to the left of the pedal which would give more comfort, or you get tired quickly whether to use this pedal throughout the song.
The headphone jack is a normal, but hey, it makes sense when you play with headphones to use a real headset and not the headphones from his smartphone!

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is good, it's a Boss's what!
The od / distortion are good, they sound aggressive, even if the metal does not sound distortion quite like a metal zone.
We can have fun with all available effects and discover her to refine her. And unlike zoom effects, we do not like playing with modeled effects, but with effects that sound "real" and with which we can play live.
Note the effect "solo" that allows one-click to get a good boost in and out easily mix during solos without having to touch the volume knob on his guitar or use the expression pedal .
The delays are quite varied (I use mostly analog) and sound really good. That was one reason for my purchase and I am not disappointed.

on the other hand, the wah is used sparingly, especially because of the position of the pedal. And since I bought a cry baby I used most of the wah me 70.

OVERALL OPINION

If one wants as was my case with the purchase, the power play ac / dc, of u2, hendrix's, funk, reggae, short play in a lot of musical style, but also to refine knowledge and mastery of effects, the I-70 is perfect.
After some might say you can not get the sound. But hey, everyone is not the Edge either!

It has all the effects commonly used (compression, saturation, chorus, delay, wah, whammy, noise reduction, reverb ...) and a loop of 39s.
It can be used in "manual" or "memory".
The two small oversights to make it almost perfect tennis is a delay (in stereo) and an acoustic simulator (which were yet on the ME50).
The effects are digital (COSM).
Connectivity is basic: guitar input, auxiliary input, headphone output, amp outputs (left / right).
It is a fairly complete pedals and good quality (metal box and plastic pedals Boss typical).
There is unfortunately not supplied with power ...

UTILIZATION

Operation is very simple and is based on the principle of individual pedals.
I use most often in "manual" mode: intuitive and by the peculiarity of this pedal over other (because of its configuration).
The "memory" mode is more convenient to repeat but the downside is that you have in mind the different settings (since the sliders indicate at all the current settings ...).
The loop memory is very convenient but has only three functions: registration and readers, adding overlay and stop. We can not stop and take a loop, but by playing on the expression pedal (volume coupled with the delay), it is possible to bypass the loop and back in his eSuite (for cons is not always easy to fall well on his feet ..). It is less useful in "memory" because you can not then change his registration from the loop and use during reading.

SOUND QUALITY

The effects are good especially distos, modulations and delays.
The preamp is not very successful (for modeling amps anyway) and can not be used in manual mode (you can not pass a clean channel to channel saturation like on a real amp). I mostly use the mode "clean" coupled with a distortion.
The expression pedal works correctly but I have understood the interest or the proper use of imitation which made talk box is awful.
The sound through headphones is very good.

OVERALL OPINION

I watched from a small moement the ME50 to turn "pedal board" when the ME70 is out.
I was immediately captivated by its ease of use and possibilities.
Sounds obtained are very good and very varied, I find the prices very good value.

Configuration is very easy, if you are accustomed to use the pedals, it is the ideal tool.


SOUND QUALITY

The effects are very good and we can have a huge range of sounds, we must however take some time for the rules.

I used a Gibson SG, a Fender Stratocaster and a Yamaha acoustic-electric.

OVERALL OPINION

The value for money is exellent.
It is fast, powerful and very good quality.
I can compare it with a Line6, which also has good sound but are more "aggressive"

I REFERRED choice.

All effects are usable now, digital of course. Note the presence of a preamp section, which allows to connect more or less happy directly into a cab, a microphone jack at the rear handy to work with headphones and enjoy the sound quality of some effects.
The originality of the ME 70 is the fact that this is not a gas plant with lots of small buttons or you have to edit the sounds in menus digital dubious taste: is like a string of 4 stomboxes, an expression pedal and a preamp section that is assigned the desired effect: everything is settled through the knobs!
I put 9 for the excellent idea of the configuration of this pedal, even though we may regret the absence of reverb or distos more numerous (but we should be picky).

UTILIZATION

The manual is useless and very unclear when the usefulness of each knob, it's fiddling that forged his sound.
The use is so simplified by using these knobs, which can tweak its sound live without spending 10 minutes to edit a preset. We choose the distortion you want, modulation, we hold a small delay and hop is in the pocket. Ease of use not found on any other multi-purpose.
I also use it very often with headphones, plugging directly above me with my guitar, and upgrade its effects make some much better than my amp.

SOUND QUALITY

Ah, here or down there hurts ... or no addition. It depends.
Well I play it with an Epiphone Les Paul Studio and a Fender Standard Stratocaster.

Section COMP: It does its job, the compressor is quite safe despite the presence of a slight hiss on Start, 2 3 tricks a bit unnecessary but overall.

Section OD / DS: Not bad for Overdrives, the sound is natural enough, but when you go type in distos Metal / Hard Rock, the sound is too synthetic, it makes a kind of porridge when we play on the thick rope, a brief mention. The fuzz is not bad, however in some modern style.

MODULATION section: Very successful, the chorus sounds of the fire god, also 2 with 3 tips not very useful but it's been a good job. Hat.

Section DELAY: The strong point is THE multi purpose! The section is ultra provided with all types of delay, which is rendering quite beautiful, I really found nothing wrong.

PEDAL FX section: The wah wah and the whammy, the only 2 I use the effects, have not really convaicus.

REVERB section: Not bad, there are only 2 but they are widely usable.

PREAMP section: Ouch! I really understand what Boss has sought to make. Besides the simulation of the Rectifier and Fender clean, none are usable! Simus the Marshall and Vox are sick! Major weakness of the pedals.
In the end I put 6 because despite great successes, some sounds distos, expression pedal and preamp section in general are not level.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 1 year.
I tried the Vox Tonelab too complicated.
I love this multi-purpose as it adjusts its effects as a Stompbox and is much more convenient.
I almost never use the multi distos effect, so for the fact that I use, I am very happy!
The value for money is not bad, but we can do better.
I would do this choice because I was focused on the effects I needed and I was not planning on distos MOE 70. If I had had to use the multi-effects to shape my sound, so I probably would not make that choice.
