Configurable thanks to Vyzor G-System software - Super convenient once assimilated, but it is not rocket science .... Some bugs in XP ...!

It is well done, well thought out and very serious construction ....

UTILIZATION

Must assimilate configuration, against, thanks to the small publisher PC a breeze! ... Very practical! ...

By buttons pedal better understand the principle and procedure .... Although more tedious than through a screen and a mouse! ...

SOUND QUALITY

I do not use any effects (very little "Filter" and a little "Pitch"), but I find it good bill ... Noise gate effective (I ordered my G String in its box)

- Loop 3 -> Roger Mayer Voodoo 1
My sets are ranked in order of the directory, a little way, and presto, it rolls. Really handy on stage ...!

OVERALL OPINION

In all honesty, I prefer the sound of my "classic" fiddled with his pedalboard pedals (more warm!!), Now the practical side of G.System is attractive .... And the sounds are still very nice ... must tweak the settings, and then there is time to pass before the desired result!

600 €, I think I did a pretty good deal .... A very good product once mastered ...

The package is complete with sufficient connectivity, no pettiness on the part of TC on this side, a good job

The pedal is very heavy and very sturdy. nothing to do with what happens in other brands.

Beware an updated version of software downloaded from the site of TC. I advise to recover and make an update on the machine using the USB cable (so easy)

It adds interesting features such as the outbreak of the wah effect is from the efleurement the expression pedal. if not we change the preset wah is engaged.

UTILIZATION

The use is not as intuitive as it sounds, but is still simple. after
few minutes, we found there and the manual is very well done and clear in case of problem

The edition of the effects is a very simple once you get used to it (1 hour of use) and the possibilities are enormous.

The ability to connect pedals distos in external loops 4 and managed by the pedals is great (for each different preset), similar to the insert of a preamp

The connection and setup of the pedals of expression is simple. should spend a little time, but after it works well. calibration is more, it lets you use the best of the pedal travel, with fine adjustments and judicious.

SOUND QUALITY

The effects are excellent quality, transparency, without noise or coloration
For you have to work against its sounds, but once the job is what becomes of pure happiness.

Anything is possible with this machine. it replaces a pile of the best effects pedals from walking. By setting savament effects may have strictly adhered to the character of its vintage and modern gear.

To be honest, after 14 years of guitar, I'm still on my ass and I had almost all brands of effect of walking ...

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a few days. I wait to test it on scene and see the adaptation on stage.

Most:

Connectivity out of the connection communication (no walk in the multi does not offer the same)
General ergonomics very good
Quality sound and exceptional transparency
Quality of the pedals and materials that promise a long life span
TC was really concerned to provide a unique solution for guitarists and flexibility out of the ordinary

The Connextion and setting the expression pedal is not super simple

All types of effects flanger, chorus, tremolo, filter, panner, pitch, delay, reverb, compressor, etc. ..

UTILIZATION

Setting clear, detailed, but rather complicated in therm of settings for beginners, noon, relay, etc ...
Editing simple effects, downloadable manual in English but in fancies site tc.

SOUND QUALITY

Compared to some criticism I personally find the effects of good qualities, very precise, breathless, very beautiful effects in stereo I also highly recommend using the g system with 2 amps! In stereo is wonderful.
For beginners advice would still spend hours in the settings of the actual effects because the sound is very studio a little cold without any adjustment.
The delays are very accurate! Very beau.Le chorus and tremolo are very successful, flanger I am a little less fan a little cold! But it's a matter of taste.
wha are the very successful too.
Possessing the mpx g2 making the comparison actually the sound of the lexicon seems warmer but the sound of g is very transparent system, ideal for studio recording.
The reverbs are nice, but attention was well done!

OVERALL OPINION

I used it for 1 ½ years is a very nice pedal, the bright lights of the pedals and the screen is effective on scene.il is very robust.
It is convenient to comfirm all guitarists, but for a beginner it will have to learn to settle it and spending time to play it.
I have not fully exploited, the possibilities are enormous given that corrects tc regularly defaults with different versions.

Great unit here! Lots of effects and options here. Legendary choruses, delays, reverbs, and more. Unit can be interfaced via USB to edit patches on your computer, as well as for firmware updates. The unit has a unique feature that allows it to be used totally as a floor processor, or the brains of the floorboard can be put in a rackcase for more complicated setups, however making stage setup easier at the sametime. I myself use this in a rack with a mesa mark IV head. The unit controls the amp switching for me as well as allows control of stompboxes via its built in effects loop. There are so many features here available its ridiculous. However some people still fail to see its usefullness, and I understand its not the right choice for everyone. For me personally i couldnt imagine any other way. All I need is this unit and an amp head of my choice and i have a world class rig ready to go in a tidy rackcase. When I get to the gig all i do is plug in the head to the speaker cab and run a cat5 cable from the gsystem brain to the floorboard. SETUP DONE!

UTILIZATION

Editing effects is a little complicated at first, but when you understand how the scrolling knobs work editing is a breeze. I find i like to edit by actually scrolling and twisting knobs rather then using the computer editor for some reason. The TC manual is ok, but an even better read is Laird's "White Pages", do a search on the TC forums and they are pretty easy to find. He guides you through the whole setup process very easily and methodically.

SOUND QUALITY

I primarily use this with my G&L legacy and a PRS CE22 and it sounds stellar with both. When this unit first hit the scene people swore they could hear the "digital converters" and all this other nonsense. I just hear a great product with a great rep buy a great company. Ive been using this live and in the studio for almost 6 years now and have never had a problem.

OVERALL OPINION

The only thing i feel TC shouldve added in this unit is overdrive/distortion. They even included that on the stripped down Novasystem. Another cool feature would be a looper of some sorts. With those things added i feel this unit could rule the world!!! If it did die...which it wont...i would get another in a heartbeat, would probably look into that newer Red version they are making now too.
