Value For Money : Excellent
Reason 3 beginners bought in January 2007, used to rewire with cubase 4. So now I use Manir still pretty basic.

1. the installation:
made with the assistance of my usual dealer in my prsence. No apparent difficulty or manipulation particulire ...

2. incompatibility:
up any Submitted

3. Manual:
for now I do not need but I can imagine one that beginners computer music (music by computer assists) with this program can be quickly Exceeds trs.
on the other hand, in the case of those (like me) who use computer music prg for a long time, people come here quite easily. Personally, I use cubase for over 20 years.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

PC Pentium 4 / 3.0 - 1 MB of ram / sound card Wami Rack / 3 hard drives (1 for prg, one for sound banks, for a direct to disq, Windows XP)

No problem running

CPU performance: Reason is apparently trs economic for the processor, despite the number and complexity of solid sounds that there are ways to deal simultanment.

My configuration is fully stable (but is installed by an expert vendor in the studio, music and computer science)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for one month

sounds:
I love it. Reason has done everything for me complmentaire prg and other plugins. For comparison I use them: the great, groove agent, all Plugsound, HALion, FM7 + for external synths (jv1080, Wavestation, tx81, DX7, CS1x ...)
Whereas the bnk supplmentaires are available on the net is unlimited. In addition, by listening to the sounds of chantilloneurs of reason (nnxt. ..), I truly believe we can CRER what you want when looking around

Sync:
I work in sync with Reason Cubase (in rewire): no problem = Reason is used almost as a plugin
but ... : Apparently there is no way to control the change of paterns and sound from cubase (as one might imagine using a function such as "prg change")
Thus, if only one works with paterns (matrix, redrum ...) you have to work on both the squenceur Reason and Cubase. eg you insrez a break in time "x", you have also the same number of insrer extent reason = waste of time.

Price:
I still like the external synth, I tend to compare prices with those synths ... Reason in this case sold a ridiculous price.
Compared with other programs, it seems Competitive trs: 400 euros for all that is available seems a reasonable price trs (you can find even cheaper but in this case can not b NFIC probably not total free technical support if needed). For those who would use it as squenceur, gnrateur Entire its hand, it's really cheap. There is missing is the audio recording in this case (probably partially compensensable with chantiloneurs).

Overall:
I have long hsit saying it would be too "duplicate". I finally cracked and since then I tell myself that all my external synths become deprecated. In any case, I use systmatiquement. Srs my plugins are always good (I got), but Reason has really become a must IMMEDIATE.
It can be used in a lot of styles (flat, house, "pseudo" classical, jazz ...)
In retrospect, with what I know now, if I buy beginners and had a sound prg in the first place is that I would start by Reason.

really, it's all good I put = 10 (for now)
