I use the firewire for the beatmaking of hiphop!
with Reason 4 and Cubase SX3!
I find her very well for this use in midi
and audio side is really nice! (for a good quality sound using a small preamp)
few problems at the beginning driver but since everything is going!

- What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
PC: Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz CPU, 1GB of ram! nothing grand but its tune very well yet!
apara had some problems with it but not me!
I am a chanceu (jme swells a little there)

- Which instruments and systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) do you use the connection and how?
I use a master keyboard in the axiom 25 and two small audio monitoring from M SO (AV40)! I get an excellent latency around 10ms!

UTILIZATION

- The installation is done it without problems?
no problem but need to know if a little bit anyway!

Yes and no because it's a good sound card!
but the trouble is that I no longer entered besion of microphones!
So in j'compte changed to something with that MIDI and monitoring!
so if somebody struts interessant!
I sell 170euros firm price!
with all the bundled software, drivers without the box!
(I'm upside down on your own in a package well protected!)
Moreover, it is still under warranty!
