1 Problem with Scarlett 2i2 and iPad
greetings , I have recently bought a scarlett 2i2 interface and I was planning on using some synths and drum sequencers I have in my iPad , when I plug a normal instrument ( guitar , bass ) the unit responds well . however when using the ipad via 1/8 cable and 1/4 adapter through line 1 , the sound I get its really weak . high frequencies seems to respond well , but all above that sounds like in a tunnel far away. I have tried every posible thing . I dont know what can be the problem , requesting some help .

HI Ivan,

The output of any iPad will be stereo as standard, and each of the inputs on your 2i2 is Mono. As such, you may need to purchase a different cable, 3.5m stereo to 2x 1/4" mono. With this setup, you will need to utilise both channels on the 2i2.
