help required NO HARDWARE CONNECTED Scarlett MixControl

Hi All
I'm having an issue where I'm trying to launch Scarlett Mix Control to configure my settings for my Focusrite Scarlett 6i6. The issue is that I'm getting a message saying 'no hardware connected'
Please note, the driver I'm using is Focusrite Control.
I need to be able to get the mixing control display up so I can adjust my buffer/ latency settings.
The DAW am using is Reaper, using Windows 10.
