Easy installation as usual at Apple ... but long, very long!
Easy Config General
The manual is nonexistent - print the pdf if you are a candidate, otherwise it runs through the pages
So good but not great for the manual - it was heavy in v8 but all the manuals were provided

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - 4GB Mem - Hard disk 160 GB external 7200 rpm - 500 GB - Sound cards: M-Audio NRV 10 & Emagic 6 | 2 2 | 6
It works fine on this config - no cracks or crash - I use a max of 10 to 15 tracks of soft + plugins - there are more than enough and they are really good.

OVERALL OPINION

1 year of use, no big revolution compared to 8 - at least for my usage.
Having tried Cubase and Live chiefly, I think Logic Studio 9 is super right for my use "zik at home." Very stable and generally not very resource hungry. Even if I use a small portion of the software's capabilities, it does the job and I do not ask any more questions about the plugins to find or buy, it works. A statement for Mainstage 2, which I tested and made me a great feeling, it really makes you want to look there, although I am more confident to set a good old hardware.
