UTILIZATION

This machine is a treat when you know it! Custom is my first instu and in a few years I became a "pro-QY700 ".... we can do a lot or very little ... turning machines with a whole fleet or just use it as a synth-free keyboard ... I have nearly 10 years, I just changed the floppy drive, a short "top" sequencer!
... Side manual YAMAHA for me has always been bad but being novive manual when I started this one should be pretty clear!

SOUNDS

-Sounds are (GM2, XG), raw but I made some good stuff with! to edit them is a huge plus, but ....
-It sounds a bit and I love vintage! ...
For effects-there's plenty to do a good job without too much abuse, ideal when you start, as many as three effects per track, and by "song" manageable edition ...
-The term may be edited for such a good drumming
The guitars are Nules-and I love the strings!

OVERALL OPINION

I have almost 10 years!
I do not use any mode of pattern that I find gear for this machine so nice ... and I would add a very small compressor!
-I have the QY70 ... otherwise I sp606 sequencer which: no!
-I would do if I had that choice! YAMAHA has not developed this product and it's a shame! The RS7000 that followed was too different and we met with bugs. The QY700 is ultra reliable for me is a jewel in the history of the sequencer "hardware". It may well be that this machine will become a reference purists a few years, anyway, it will have marked the history of my studio.
Here I spend everything on the computer!
