Mojo France Mr Purple

Mojo = 100% analogue circuit wired with point by point to the hand.
Made in France.
Here we have an overdrive / distortion type high gain which takes the grain and the response of a Soldano saturax in area.

The pedal is purple, it's simple, efficient and elegant short everything that I love. It is clearly distinguishable on a pedalboard and has its own personality.


UTILIZATION

Simple setup:
2 channels, 5 knobs, 2 Foostswitch True Bypass.
From left to right:
-A volume with a large reserve (never more than 10h). It's enough to seriously boost your basic sound.
- "Fat" thickens the sound in the Low / Medium
- "EQ" is the knob Tone
-Drive (which manages the gain is added in cascade to the first channel)

In and Out on top of the box
9Vdc battery power or AC power (9v/18v)

SOUND QUALITY

The effect is very dynamic and we obtained very nice crunch on the basis of the attack. It is clear (the guitar respected character, nature of the amp as well)
Responds well to volume knob.

When you push both drive with the boost engaged, you get a high gain distortion worthy of the brand Soldano amps.
It is powerful, accurate, bold or sharp depending on the settings interdependent (Fat and Eq).
Who called high gain humbucker said.
This is the only fault to be done: with simple you lose in precision, it drools a bit and it's a little bright. But if you drop the drive, the light crunch and other overdrives are divine.

With the impressive volume reserve, we also provide a clean boost, a Fat Boost, a treble boost.

One can have with these two channels a large number of sounds.
The fat saturation is typed, however.

A few blows with all the knobs at the bottom but minimal given the amount of gain.


OVERALL OPINION

Very versatile pedal that was under the sole.
Available from NOS to Pigalle, preferably to buy online shop (there are some problems of delivery these days).
Tom is a passionate and will certainly guide you to the pedal that will suit your needs.

It's a price for its pro pro (290 € new).
Very good pedal anyway.

I use it recently. I see in this collective situation it has in the stomach but it will certainly tear.

Used with Twintone Koch (first model) and a Fender Stratocaster. MIJ from 1986 with Tom Anderson pickups (HSS).
