Construction / Finish:
- Painting, general finishes, construction, are worthy of more high-end positioning of this pedal
- The knobs, switch, s'actionnent smoothly, and are among the best of its kind
- The footswitch itself is the best I've tried, and its action is very smooth

Details that annoy:
- Made in Taiwan]: p! Yes, even T-Rex relocates ... Yet it was not so long ago, the company manufactured in Denmark ...
- Battery compartment molded into a plastic medium flattering
- Detail ineligible for that price: the power supply via 9V battery is too wrapped inside the box, and can not be conducted from the outside!
= I had to remove the pedal to get some cable, and the tape against the battery compartment
= By the way, the interior is very clean, the PCB is soldered, even better than AMT

UTILIZATION

It's a double pedal by stereo chorus or flanger, switchable, with:
- 5 settings for the chorus: depth, speed, tone, output level, entry level
- 6 for the flanger settings: the five knobs in common with the chorus + regeneration

Despite their relatively large, the settings are very rational, and the pedal quickly tamed.

The manual is clear and concise and contain all information necessary for the proper use of the T-Rex Twister.

In seeking a little bit, we can find the sounds you want.

Important details for pedalboard users:
- Battery power is anecdotal, and the pedal will not sound the best of its ability ... besides autonomy 30min
- Any of the pedal sounds a 9V power, but sounds great in 12V!

SOUND QUALITY

Preamble:
- With a 9V battery, this pedal sounds pretty arbitrary, if not flat ... plus she eats 9V batteries at breakneck speed!
- Connected to my diet Fame DCT200, 9V mode, it sounds even worse than the 9V battery

12V mode, which transforms the pedal:
- The chorus is very good, probably one of the best I have ever try, and it sounds much better than the 9V battery!
- The possibilities are numerous, with the tone knob (you can go from a rather modern chorus, a chorus more "vintage")
- The flanger is great, ranging from discrete flanger to place on a clean funky, with a heavy flanger "woosh" on Van Halen
- The pedal can get the volume you want when activated (output knob of effective)
- It complies with the grain of the amp
- The pedal is obviously true-bypass

Some criticisms:
- T-Rex Twister 2 does not provide a chorus "emetic" (sea sick for lovers)
- The lower envelope a little too much chorus for my taste (even tone background)
- My Carl Martin Chorus XII, which has only two settings, sounds better, purer, more dense, with a background of a little metal bell that I love (no not push the T-Rex Twister 2)

I use this pedal with my guitar: Teisco Spectrocaster, Fender American Standard Telecaster, Ibanez 540PII, Vigier Excalibur Indus.
My amp is nothing special.

OVERALL OPINION

I use the T-Rex Twister 2 since June 2011, after selecting the samples via YouTube Burgerman666.

I have chosen for its sound qualities, and because it fits easily into a compact pedalboard.

The specifics I prefer:
- Sound quality
- Versatility
- Have a chorus and a flanger on a single pedal!
- Transparency, and true bypass
- Build quality

What I like least:
- It can not match the Carl Martin Chorus xII] :-|
- It really needs to speak 12V

As you have probably realized, I have another chorus pedal: the Carl Martin Chorus XII.
Although excellent, the Twister 2 is still slightly off from the Carl Martin Chorus XII, at least for my taste.

I also tested another chorus, the Boss CH-1, but she had not packed more than that ...

A € 145 fdpin (error of Music Store), I would do this choice with his eyes closed, because this pedal, although slightly down compared to the Carl Martin Chorus XII is perfect for my needs at pedalboard, while combining a very good chorus and a great flanger.
