Seymour Duncan SH-18S Whole Lotta Humbucker Set

I mainly play a Gibson Les Paul 2012, originally equipped with Burstbucker pro on a Marshall JVM 410.
I found the Burstbuckers too extreme, too fat, too severe on the neck and bridge pickup and too aggressive on the bridge pickup, I'm tempted by the promise of his Jimmy Page.

Complicated setup on this guitar because the pickups do not have the quick connectors gibson gibson pickups but only have so I will not blame them.

Good sound now ... The balance is perfect, there is no longer a caricature of Burstbuckers Pro (I exaggerate a little voluntarily).
The sound is very well defined, the neck pickup is not too bassy and especially the bridge pickup remains bright and surly but not aggressive, I can even stay in the axis of Celestions v30 without earache (those of v30 know what I mean).

Warm, vintage guaranteed, with a good level of output but each note remains intelligible.
To play Led Zep is the foot, is more than talent.

I did not like the Seymour Duncan, I'm glad I retried the experience!

I installed these pickups only been two days, so of course I will make an edict of this notice in a while.

Bought $ 200 (€ 150) on eBay, including shipping and duty free is a bargain!
