Meisel COM-90

1/1

The flexible gooseneck mount featured on the new Meisel COM-90 clip-on instrument tuner is designed to let players place the display in the perfect viewing position.

The COM-90 is chromatic and can tune virtually any instrument, with selectable calibration for guitar, bass, violin, and even ukulele.

Meisel says that the COM-90 features a large and bright display that shows the target note and the calibration setting. When the note is in perfect tune, the display changes from bright blue to bright green, for additional tuning convenience. Players can choose to tune with the built-in microphone or a contact transducer in the gel-padded clip.

This is also one of the few available tuners with a calibration range that extends to A=410Hz, the company says—an important feature when tuning Renaissance, Baroque, and other “early music” instruments like the lute and viola d’amore.

The COM-90 is light (1.5 oz., 40g) and compact (2" × 1" × 3.4"). It is powered by one CR2032 3V coin-type battery (supplied).

Pricing
The MSRP for the Meisel COM-90 is $34.95.
