pedal pro legend ..,. it also reverb and sampler for qq seconds. (5 to 10, but the sound bjr!) Much better delay that some racks worth it .. even when 1400F in 87 jmens crazy ... I bought a cheap dokaz .. ! A WONDER, a little greedy in 9v batteries. but I forgive him. (or predict a 9v power supply rack) transformer especially not Chinese, you go and burn out, it would be a shame ..

    UTILIZATION

The function is intrssante sampler, but it must be really patient to manage! . But it can serve as a replay on loops that are stored before .. but the signal degrades quickly! (Such use of the 70's band!)

    SOUND QUALITY

    SOUND QUALITY

According to the manipulations, we get an excellent room echo, and delay today .. + Reverb a short, fun ... in fact it is the same housing as the last! and advantages: low background noise!

    OVERALL OPINION

It is old, not bad scratches and works impec.car is a jap .. the recent Taiwan are just copies .. AC does, but with less! I think it was never rebuilt thereafter. there was the DD3 and DD2, but too much echo bcp bazaar ..

    UTILIZATION

    Very easy to use
sampler function is not the most efficient, were the first at the time, the loop is very short (800ms max ...) so ....
but it can still serve qq todo ptits fun stuff

    SOUND QUALITY

A great delay, and very prorpe right, it was not colored like an echo bench, but must rather think of the TC
iIn the looper mode, the signal eventually deteriorate, in my opinion, the pedal must repeat the previous delay, and not the original, it gives one side lo-fi

    OVERALL OPINION

    2 years
I love in dub, send a skank with a repeat donf open and play with the time
    it's speed / pitch note ....
    I sell because I go to the DL4 ...

This is one of the first mutli looper delay pedals from Boss. This pedal would allow you to record multiple samples and play over them with the delay function. this pedal was made only for one year and though they did make a lot of them they just didn't catch on. They seem to be a bit confusing to people as there was a lot of modes and functions written on the front and just wasn't a plug and play item. You really had to go over the manual and understand how this pedal worked and what all the functions meant and how they could be used in a live setting.

    UTILIZATION

    Specifications

Current Draw: 55 mA (DC 9V)

PCM System: 12-bit plus analog logarithm compression

    Frequency Response: Sample/Delay 40Hz to 7kHz (+1/-3 dB), Direct 10Hz to 60kHz (+1/-3 dB)
    Recommended AC Adaptor: PSA Series

    SOUND QUALITY

There are two delays setting in this pedal S mode did small delay repeats from about 50 to 200 ms. Where the L mode did repeats from 200 to 800 ms. The pedal does sound good if you like the Boss DD-2. This would be one of Boss's most famous pedals and best digital delay to date. These two pedals shared the same internal circuitry chip which gives them the same basic tone for the delays. So if you are a fan as I am of the Boss DD-2 then you would like this pedal. If you don't want to spend the money on a Boss DD-2 which fetch more money that these pedals then you can go for this one is you are using the basic delay functions.

    OVERALL OPINION

These pedals were only around for about one year. You can still find them in the classifieds and on ebay all day long. They usually fetch about $110 to $120. Some for more if they can get it but the average is right around there. I would recommend this to anyone who wants the tone of a Boss DD_2 and also the looper function. Its a good pedal fro someone who likes recording live and playing over that recorded riff.

Very easy to use that small!
effective on stage and in ox for duber and delirious with the speed (pitch)

    - Effects are they effective, responsive and realistic enough?
Yes excellent for rock and reggae sampler ... fun!
    - Which instruments do you use?
guitars and amps ... I even tested the voice, not bad!
I prefer using it rather than direct loop, the sound is better.
good for the chorus lead with very little delay level (bigger sound) is a lyrical pedal!
    - Which ones you prefer, you hate?
I hate compressors! and all effects with adjustable input gain ...

    OVERALL OPINION

    - How long have you use it?
I bought mine in 1983 at the Salon de la Musique in Paris. Since antiquity it no longer my pedalboard! ... It was about 1200 F not given at the time.
    - What is so special that you like most and least?
The size, sound, ease of adjustment "to hard" on stage.
    - Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Not y'en was not a lot in 80, when the Boss came they were hard.
Before, I used an echo chamber Roland Band, while there, when it comes to breath ...
    - How would you rate the quality / price?
Exellent for my copy. Huge manufacturing quality, indestructible! ! !
I have used in conditions that are most dificil: Scenes in tsunami-earth bars drunken punks, beach, bowling, rain ... and everything else!
I never had any trouble of any kind on a Boss pedal. I use them since 1983 I bought three, they all work like new. (With which they make their switches?)
    - With experience, you do again this choice? ...
Well, it's on! These old Boss that is carved into the rock mass for Amen ...
