very good guitar for metal but a little fiddling with the settings on my Marshall, I get sounds more rock!! very versatile ... very easy to get a zakk wylde has its also very simple obtain his or slahs has there raprochant much .... I play on a JCM900 4100 model plus a ibanez tube screamer overdrive sound ..... ranging from metalica and pantera .... . as mentioned above, no other sounds easily get into the settings and fiddling on Guitar and amp or pedal ..... I had a friend try during the fall of 2012 and I fell totally in love with this guitar .... I played dio, guns and roses, ozzy osbourne, pantera ... it lends itself perfectly has all these sound types ..... I made a choice knowing what I was buying and I would do this choice without hesitation aucunne!!

I wonder what a serve Him even more expensive to pay for a gibson epiphone made when the same work so well!!

UTILIZATION

The handle is D-shaped, rather round, which does not necessarily comfortable if you've never played on an Epiphone or gibson ... it's just a matter of habit!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it recently so I may come back to change my opinion but is unlikely.
What I like first of all about her is her style, I love the shape LES PAUL and the more I am a huge fan of Zakk Wylde so I found my happiness.

This is a Les Paul with its advantages and disadvantages (which is nothing new). Access to acute acoutumance requires some, but you get done quickly. The body is a single piece of mahogany (not the infamous sandwitch alder / mahogany other Epi)
The pickups are EMG HZ, who very promptly pleasantly surprised. As against the knobs are crap, they spat at the end of two months. Nothing serious, just change them.
The guitar was perfectly set, but I took it all to accommodate my tastes.
The finish is good, the neck and the frets are well finished, there are some missed in the body, but it must look closely to perceive it.

The handle is big, but very comfortable. It's bigger than a type 60 and thinner than type 50.
For sounds, original they are very hot, surprising for the EMG.
I did a little mod, very simple. After the information on the site of EMG, I removed the pickups (super simple, thanks to the connectors) and myself appercu one thing. I use it for a year and a half and is dejenu my main guitar, before a Supreme Lag The Beast, however excellent. The difference with the Gibson signature ZW becomes downright minimal .. The sound becomes more awful lot! AC fuse, ca spits, yells ca ...

The clean sounds are not to be outdone, very clean, has both round and precise .. Easily modified with a small round knob!

It has become my favorite guitar! by far!

For about 1000Euros. I have an absolutely sublime guitar, which sounds of thunder! In short, the foot!

UTILIZATION

It's been 18 years since I played. This is my second electric guitar (with an old Gibson SG as actually more!).
This instrument is a very good comfort. Side access to acute bah is the Les Paul. We must therefore get used to it (compared to the SG with cut sides offer maximum opportunities on this side). I usually play about 10-46 games of rope, but went down there at the Custom lite (9-46) to draw in sharp bends more easily!
Note: this guitar has excellent sustain.

This guitar is versatile enough after all. Blues, heavy rock, metal, jazzy sounds, anything goes.
A good razor micro bridge and neck pickup in the round.
The EMG HZ pickups are a good but I made it for my taste but lack of some teeth in distortion (compared to the couple Gibson / Di Marzio my SG on my Vox AD50VT amp).
So I bought a kit and assembled active EMG Zakk Wylde (81 in bridge and 85 in neck) and there ... Nothing to do. There really before and after! Harmonic richness, potato crazy. It really spits while keeping a good versatility for different styles (the profile of the guitar is still resolutely rock / metal). My rating is the config with EMG active!

OVERALL OPINION

I have this guitar for 2 weeks. I alternate with my SG. It's two worlds.
The ZW Les Paul is a very good instrument, with a sacred finish. However, the original passive pickups have a little trouble in saturation (it is very dry). I therefore advise an investment asset. The couple EMG 81-85 wonders but I guess two 81 or 81 (bridge) + a 60 (neck) also do the trick depending on the desired sound.
Note: I changed, wired and welded myself ZW micro kit. No worries! For the attention of those concerned, EMG has thought of everything in the box: cables, knobs, jack. It is pre-wired and son are already tinned for soldering! A word.
Less than 1000 euros, deposit vraiment.Je guitar would do this choice without any hesitation!

Everything has been said Paravant. It is a beautiful Korean and mine is camouflage finish ... Superb ...

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, hand gliding above, and its natural place it either in academic position with the thumb on top.
Access to acute is correct, it is a Les Paul on the other hand as it is not too heavy (I was heavier!) We can easily adjust the handle (the guitar!?!) and have easier access.

Being eclectic in music I had a guitar too "specialized" and I must say I'm satisfied.
Those who found metal type I wonder if they know the use of 4 knobs on the guitar?!
Playing with the volumes (especially for the intermediate position as the microphone is much more acute than the beefy serious he takes the sound to the treble volume so suddenly and we get a good sound usual Les Paul) and the tones we realize that the mics are versatile.

The handle is enjoyable .. trs I personally think it's a tree trunk split in two .. ahaha but also a big hand than mine, it is perfect ... APRS is the Saddle ... it's slippery. I as well as the rhythmic shred on this guitar.

Regarding Access in aigux, bah is a Les Paul ... pretty boring but you get done ...

The weight of the bte embtant enough when playing standing lontemps .. j'commence a sore shoulder at the end of three hours but otherwise the guitar is very well balance.

I put 9 for weight ... for the APRS fte of music I had the shoulder hurt too ..

I use it with a laney 100 watt hybrid and a TC electronic G major, and you get really great sounds.
I also test on a Marshall 100 watt all-tube .. then .. simply beautiful .. trs sound prcis whether rhythm or solo, not even need to change the settings, plug and ring.

I put 8 for the lack of versatility of this guitar.

UTILIZATION

I tested this guitar with a friend. N'tant not a regular gibson or epiphone, I did gure held rglages, I can not say too much if it is not easy o this ct.

Moreover, it is certainly a good guitar trs. Comfortable, although heavy (like any LP), relatively comfortable in any position (although my Ibanez ct, was sitting comfort misreux matter xD), trs good balance, it absolutely does not move when playing quietly and the rest o it was put.

The handle: enjoyable trs, trs instinctive. I am used to big sleeves Bourin typ highway with surleves frets, well I must say that I still had that handle IMMEDIATE hand, no problem to send potatoes in every sense, has come alone.

Access in acute: bah, it's an LP that, the end of the handle is thick and trs trs recessed but with large hands (like me), has passed without problem.
