The SmartLoop is a very handy for looper pedalboard. It offers 3 modes:
- 2 loops mono
- 4 mono loops (with insert cables)
- 2 stereo loops (with insert cables)
We can therefore make a real progress on his pedalboard routing, without taking up too much space. This is one of the few flaws SmartLoop: connectors are placed quite close to each other, forcing to use either free or jacks jacks angled short. It is a pity not to have more spaced connectors. A perforated pedalboard will work around the problem.
The SmartLoop is controlled via switches on the front, but also via MIDI. It has an input and an output for chaining other elements, and a learning mode for programming: use is a breeze.
The level I have not seen any particular damage, so all is well.
This is a somewhat unique product by its format, so unless my needs do not change I would do this choice.
