I couldn't be happier considering a small and affordable amp.

VT20+ Limited Edition is neat, has a cool retro design (the limited edition has a brown finish instead of black like the other of the series).

The analog and digital effects are great, it has a valve to deliver a full analog tune). The amp simulators are awesome.

VT20+ is plenty of features and effects. If was not the power of this small one, it could easily be used on serious performing. But there are the VT80 and 120, so...

It has a headphone output that can be plugged on your computer line in or microphone input for recording and if you use amp volume on its minimum possible and turn off any microphone "boost" on your computer side, you will be able to record with NO distortion.

I recorded this 2min Hard Rock Instrumental and posted at YouTube and you will be able to see some of this amp tunes. Please, I'm not a professional it was first time using a recording software, but my musician friends love it.

Vox VT30 amp is digital with a lamp between the preamp and HP, which warms the cold of its generally this type of system.
However, we face a tube amp 30 watts in terms of power.
Relatively poor connectivity because there is only one headphone available.
At the rear a connection for the footswitch (not supplied with the new purchase, about 60 euros) that I find essential to repeat.
At the knobs, we find the usual settings, treble, medium, low, gain, master volume and a part for the amp. There is also a selector effect coupled with a tape and a tempo knob reverb separately.
At the back, you can adjust the lamp wattage, I will return later on.

UTILIZATION

The use of the amp is very simple. In addition, for beginners, there are presets is not too bad to begin with.
The instructions are simple and clear.

SOUNDS

Cleans sounds are relatively stunning considering the price of the machine, the crystalline sounds round and warm.
Crunches are without property types not excel, they are easily exploitable and mix well in the mix.
High gain amps, and unfortunately it is often the case in digital systems, are drafts and they sound really digital. It is usable at home or in rehearsal for troubleshooting but not live. Indeed soup guaranteed!

Attention high volume, especially in watts pushing through the control back, a lot of breath can be felt, especially on high gain amps.
I recommend juggle knob watts, and master volume to get the best sound possible without triggering a tornado.


Part effect is not too bad although obviously pedals are better but it is still correct. Reverb is apart from other effects, practice. Tap tempo for delay or stall the other is required. Unfortunately, it is only on the amp, not the footswitch.

OVERALL OPINION

The amp is of good quality and we feel that we know of VOX in the assembly. I used it for two years and allowed me to give me a hand. Very versatile and complete effect, the price / quality ratio is excellent, especially in Cygnus.
I recommend the beginner wishing to play various musical styles.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years and no problems including the footswitch unlike check I've read elsewhere.
Bought from the darty zik (milonga) should not imagine that we will come out of all lamps or big sound but it does its job in clear and good rock.
I use it on stage soon to complement what I already vary guitars and not to take the lead in tap dance on a pedalboard

I do not regret my purchase that allows me to work standards as do some shred ...

Aesthetic side everything was being said that the grid does not as kitsch ... but we are in I like or not like this is a matter of taste.

I play with a Mex Fat Start and I really feel like many guitars in one. many good sounds good round and heated through (thank you the light!) in almost all models prrgls

OVERALL OPINION

Acquisition for only 3 weeks but I can not get enough and I redcouvre fun to play. IDAL I think that for both the clean and crunch for rock or hard rock. certainly limit for heavy metal though I am not an expert in the Contents.

UTILIZATION

It's quite complicated to manage, with buttons to hold down during the setting dial, LED so the colors are similar (orange-red), but it did.

The sounds of the amps are pretty good, even very very good, especially when it mounts the Master (for the effect class A valve reactor). Thanks to the knob at the back of wattage you can get a big sound at low volume, it is very significant especially when HP becomes rough on large bass or on the big win. The gain knob has a tendency to really spoil the other HP and must be lightweight with.

It is easy to clean sounds good, or good hard crunch and warm for all types of guitar (bobi single, double or assets). With simple bobi ca buzz like a real tube amp. Amazing for the transistor is not it? Metal sounds have little to do with the models simulated, but still usable.
Basically I prefer the "manual" mode with no effect.

Where it is not the best, it is with the effects (especially at the beginning when we do not yet know well managed) is the cata! No one to catch the other. Topping the list, flanger, rotary and octave that are really grass roots. I mean by as much as you can appreciate the side of analog amplifiers in natural, as the effects break the dream! Line6 in the area is 10 times better. Here is the first Casio Played at Club prices. This means we can rule out altogether the 22 presets "Effected" and a lot of sounds produced by 22 artists. Fortunately there is a bypass button on the effects, I recommend sticking to the super glue.

SOUNDS

Best sound: Black 2x12, AC15, AC30, Numetal, US90 (ex-UK70), UK Modern, and ExpressTrain CaliMetal. The two biggest stars are AC30BM (Brian May, with the gain is beautiful) and AC50CP2 (it looks like a well saturated the Gilmour). The Tweed 4x10 is beautifully creamy (a bit worse than the AD30) and the Black 2x12 is clean even with a desire of gain. At first I thought the AC30 TB zero, curiously much much too dark. But with patience, by reducing the master, pushing the treble and gain a background, it becomes great. In general all the sounds are excellent and will require hours and hours to find out all the virtues.

I put a great note, although the effects are blah-blah, and concluding nevertheless that nothing beats the real amps it takes to connect back to reality.

OVERALL OPINION

Barely a week of use (without stopping). Extraordinary value for money: 9 for excellent sound and with the wattage of a button the rear is a sacred matter, except the HP has a bit messy.
The AD30VT has declined, it is also superbly positioned in prices, despite a few less features: reverb separate 11 amps instead of 22, only two patches.
See also the home of Peavey VYPYR 30 (AC seems to be the bomb for less).

Long live competition, It's great that Line6, Peavey, Vox, Fender are doing the simulation wad!

EDIT: after a month of use, I confirm that transplanting (sm57 or to sound recorder) ca tore a block!. And I always found her a nice guitar for any style and in no time, 8 patches used to save a sound during the recording. And the effects ... what effects??

OVERALL OPINION

For the price of a good PDAL, I have an amp that sounds with a real dynamic game, a true sense of sustain / compression type amp and very versatile lamp for your home, tear it off the RPTS and caf 'conc' or ca te pisses you vomit on your amp 2000.
