UTILIZATION

As mentioned above, trs simple, but you really look at the rglages: both subtle and effective trs they give a broad sound palette trs.
I do not really play with the release mulate at the moment: just a single test on a hi-fi to see clearly not bad at all.

SOUND QUALITY

As expected, the super smooth distortion crunch that hard. And all with, I find a good articulation trs notes: never draft. I do not push the volume trs far as I'm playing at home.
So I have to a modern amp hand wired vintage WEM in 1965 (same year as me: I'm old or what? Fortunately retains ca scratches ...). Zoom amne compressor, boost, delay, reverb, ... And although the sound is excellent and the nuances of play perfectly transcribed. Ht goes very with it all in jar and distortion. I finally crunch blues sound I was looking for with the models of ZOOM vriament without ever having what I wanted.

OVERALL OPINION

Excellent, I will return ...
Just a pb of contact on the switch channel 2 which does not always snaps trs property (collateral) to adjust.
Otherwise the super stuff, which I recommend.

This is a two channel pedal, one which can be either clear or crunch (via a small switch), the other channel for the bass distortion. A lamp powered high voltage generates most of its. At the knobs, a gain and volume per channel, a switch clean / crunch, a bass, a middle, a treble, and a knob that ISF can generate ambiences by focusing on the frequencies. When you turn the knob to the left of the ISF, we immediately recognized the sound texture of Fender and Boogie, it is quite right in English (Marshall and Vox). The result is really surprising!

UTILIZATION

No need manual for this pedal are found all the controls of a conventional two-channel amplifier. The knob of ISF request that is interested in a bit to find his own sound and that is what is important. I add a compressor to the Line6 pedal and it sends severe.

OVERALL OPINION

I have recently, but frankly it's the best distortion pedal and overdrive I've ever had in my possession (and I've had a few ...). It is not even quite expensive for the quality of sound it delivers. It is solid, nice, well thought out, well built, short run to buy it or at least try it ..

Pedal tube (made in Korea mine) powered 300V unlike other pedals that are powered lamps to less than 200V. The 300V power is typical of tube amp "high-gain". It seems that having one foot in voltée tube is a commercial asset ...

Construction:
Quality flawless finish, no play at the portards,

Obviously the lamp Sovtek 12AX7WA.

Easy connection, a guitar input, an output tube amp, a pedal or amplifier output transistor and an output for recording (HP simulator) and a socket for 16V transformer (supplied).

No MIDI interface.

So a priori in the characteristics is a real hit, it was everything you need in this pedal. Clear sound, crunch, distortion and bypass.
We feel that it's solid and can go to war (but without projection of water due to aeration, which gives an opening to the components).

SOUND QUALITY

That's all I expected from a distortion pedal in sound quality course (ref. section use grrr ...)
This is the first time I hear a 15W transistor amp (H & K Edition Blue) sound as big and full. it's impressive, I do not regret having sold my 75W!

It's simple, the pedal is transparent and reflects the personality of my Willow's Spirit (stunt passing ^ _ ^) 2 Humbucker mounted in Rio Grande - Tallboy (to re-pass, because really splittable with 2 single coils ).

It sounds both Humbucker in Single Coil.
American-style set to ISF, was a clear slam on single coil.
And distortion of Humbucker is the mega potato guaranteed! Low frequencies are very nice as palm muting, and really leads the character. By adding a little delay ... hmmm ... believes there is too much!

The light switch in channel1 done wonders again, it's too bad not to have separated the light from the crunch ... It is also possible to make the cruncher channel1 clear, but it is certainly not the only switch CH1 crunch that pushed all the way to gain level can provide a super overdrive. Otherwise, the setting frequency (Bass / Mid / Treb) is ultra efficient, it is very sensitive in the right direction. It sharpens easily setting.

Do not laugh especially for karaoke mixer ... because the very fact that we can completely do without a dedicated amp to the guitar if you do not play at home and you're forced to play at low volume (shit disturber neighbors ...).
It can be according to my ears, a very good sound and mixed it passes nickel in hi-fi speakers. I do not have the high-end hardware, far from it, and yet I am very satisfied with the result. All sounds go well, the light to nag. The distos are as pleasant as Emulated Output. I had fun playing on the backing track with the mixer, it mixes very well mixed with the sounds of a CD.

OVERALL OPINION

It should be two weeks that I [-August 2007]. And I use it as much as I can.
In summary:
+ Variety of sounds, quality sound on two channels, ease of adjustment, manufacturing quality, price / quality ratio
- Lack of practical use when one wants to fully exploit the 3-channel (potential)

I had a TubemanII, it is worth as its equivalent to control, but the TubemanII is much more limited in the settings. Well, we can say that even at the same price, the HT-Dual will take it with her huge distortion.

SOUND QUALITY

I plug my Ibanez in my sz320MH GH50L rgl for a clean / crunch, j'enclenche channel 1 and l. .. Finally, an overdrive that I like. In spite of indisputable quality, Jekyll & Hyde silent my weary APRS reached 3 years of loyal service (too "clean" and too "smooth" I got). APRS 2 months of use (in DIFFERENT groups) of the HT Dual is my verdict. I finally have a versatile distortion, and muscle prcise not make everyone sourdingue (the distortion of the Laney is great but requires a minimum volume to be crdible, which is not feasible in any circumstances ...). I tried the Vox Bulldog who had not convinced. For the price it was the quality (missing is a wish ...), but still expensive ... Repeat the same choice? Why not? But scratch the LORD are unmet Contents of distortion. SOUND QUALITY

Effective, I want my nephew! the distortion is warm nothing to do with the infamous dung I have tried in my young life and has enough gain to make something fairly straight forward but not c for high gain.

I use it with an ibanez gio but I play regularly with the sg standart of a friend and kills her! especially on my marshall fullstack 1959slp I used to channel 2 boust VBAC story to have a big distortion and channel 1 on the crunch for playing stuff like Black desire without having to mount a 8.

I also used the clear sound of Marshall (which was a lol) story of playing at home in all cases ca sent!

also try a randall transistor, the same conclusion and it's hot but the pedal sends the sound colors must love the sound so it is not transparent

SOUND QUALITY

I bought the HT because the dual drive Ht n'tait complte I got enough. I do not always comprendss why ht drive just a "tone" when the dist ht a 3-band eq ...

In short, I am not a consumer of distortion, so I never use channel 2. However, in distortion, it's certainly what I've heard better, even if I have the impression that the Ht dist silent a little better in that register. The distortion is not my registry, but this one I parat quite exceptional.

So I go back on the channel that I use, 1. This is probably the best overdrive pedals I have and I'm ultra jou difficult. The eq and isf gnrer allow a large variety of crunch and overdrive. I can not find the grain of my head 800 2210, but it does not m'empche m'clater with. There is good ractions the game, as the drive of a head, and it is that makes a lot of pedals suprieure lights of the genre. In short, it can be mumuse with the volume knob on the guitar to switch between overdrive and get a nice crunch trs, which are not all overdrive pedals (or not so well).

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year.
Live: it complte my JCM 800 2210 (2 channels so), not as a booster, but as overdrive alternative, especially for typing in a more US Because the head is sometimes sensitive to buzz in a hostile environment, it is sometimes act as drive the end of the beginning. This is one of the few who did clap distos shame in the branch of my JCM clean.

Tests with simple micro fender SCN, with P 90 with Les Paul studio, even with a low-end scraper (Epiphone Invader), ring! for amps, I tested it with Marshall TSL 602, Laney LC 50, Peavey Royal 8, transistor Marshall, Fender Hot Rod, H and K transistor, all the config, sounds, and whatever downstream effects.
The sound of this gem is organic, one senses the lamp, there's dynamics as a good Class A.
The sound of the instrument is I respect my strat Japanese redcouvert same with the pedals.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a week, I will not let go! I tried bcp to other models, it is such a better Tube factor H and K, more versatile and also sharper (the H and K has a ct too "crmeux" I got) but remained hot even in large saturations. Incomparable with any of distortion pedals transistor.
I paid 130 used, I would remake that choice with his eyes closed!
The only snag is that there is no damage level indpendant for clean channel, which is a bit faiblar, we therefore need remmetre level hand if you also want to use the Crunch channel. At the same time, it is a distortion of pedals, I have not bought for clean sounds.

This is by far the best distortion pedals I've heard. I play on a Marshall 50DFX (transistor) with a superstrate Hammer, or a home Hagstrom Swede. The pedals fully respects the two guitars. Disto implacable! ... In 2nd guitar, a Duesenberg Starplayer TV, and leHumbucker, there must be no problem dcoller wallpapers, Fawn Gibson + Mesa. The sound is always trsdfini, prcis is really a most excellent pedals ...

The ISF is an + empty, every time we play on the knob, it goes something! I confess be more sduit by rglages "amricains" and ISF midi / 2 hours max ...


OVERALL OPINION

MXR Zakk Wylde, Jacques tubeblower, SD1, BD2, TS9, tubeman 2, satchurator, vox bulldog, a, is the stuff that I pass under the feet these last years, as belonging to me or not ...... and Rat for distortion ... I use this pedal live and rehearsal at home on my pedalboard for a repertoire ranging from rock to heavy through the country, the English and French pop.
I have a Boss DS1, Boss SD1 an od, a TS808, a TO800, a metal muff in poor condition, but since the arrival of my couple Laney / Blackstar, I admit I stored all my other pedals. Simply because this gives me HT Dual everything I need in one pedal. It works great with my Start US, my Ibanez JS1000 and AS93, my P44pro Parker.

SOUND QUALITY

This will make you have a three channel amp or it can make you get your clean amp to a distortion zone and then have a boost for solos or you can have one mega distortion channel with both boosts going at the same time. You can find these pedals new for right at around $199, which is a great price for two pedals in one. This can be simply a booster pedal or a distortion box or two booster pedals or two distortion boxes. This is a very versatile pedal. The tone is what separates this pedal from the rest of the competition. The tone comes form that famous and useful Blackstar tone that many of thier amps have. I would recommend this pedal to anyone trying to get their sound down and need a few extra tools in one to nail don their tone.
