Well ... This weekend I bought in a flea market instruments an overdrive SERIES: Maxon OD 808, Nobels Distortion +, Boss SD 2, Danelectro dady and a Guv'nor generations.
The Maxon could not be simpler: cain, and a level knob for the tone.
Small, discrte, most of lgre 5!
Too simple: 10/10
UTILIZATION
RAS
SOUND QUALITY
The pedals are standard!
It is a tube screamer lgrement better: more harmonious, warm sound, it turns a transistor amp Amps tt lamps. Dedicates pleased guitarists love vintage sounds, fine, trs musical. No big sound, just an overdrive of quality.
A fourth volume pushed (3 / 4) was a great crunch, lightweight, inflating your sound terribly clear. Unlike the Boss, it is also good with my strat my tlcaster.
If you push one obtains a warm overdrive, musical, adapted to blues music and seventies.
For me, it dvance the Boss (outstanding all of the same) right heel by the Nobels.
OVERALL OPINION
Simple, excellent quality acquisition in the family of tube screamer!
