EHX introduces at NAMM 2013 a new multi-effect pedal, the Epitome and the 8 Step Program analog expression/CV sequencer and its Foot Controller.
Available late march, the 8 Step Program delivers sequencer control over parameters that respond to expression pedals or CV generators like oscillators, filters, delay parameters.
It features a Rate slider and a Tap Tempo footswitch to set the tempo, but can also be synced to a drum machine via MIDI Clock. Five Tap Tempo Divide modes provide rhythmic diversity.
Four sequence direction modes are provided (Forward, Reverse, Bounce and Random),
a rotary encoder gives you control over glide rate, direction, sequencer length and depth and you can save, store and recall 10 presets.
An optional 8 Step Program Foot Controller expands that to 100 presets.
The Epitome digital multi-effect pedal combines the polyphonic tracking of the Micro POG octaver, the stereo flanger and chorus of the Stereo Electric Mistress and the reverb of the Holy Grail Plus.
A Shimmer Mode re-routes the effects’ chain and you can control the effects via the three individual footswitches and dedicated controls.
Both pedal include a 9V power supply.
