Excellent
I have this little device for a year.
I bought it mainly for shooting his mobile sound effects and voices, and the digitization of old records. I always win with me on vacation, weekend or traveling, it is no more space than a compact camera apapreil.
Small and light (smaller and lighter than H4n), it fits in a shirt pocket, can screw up on a stupid camera, autonomy is good, the recording quality too.
The 24-bit, one can record on the fly without having to spend precious minutes to adjust the preamp or adjust the compressor.
While digging through the manual, there are plenty of other features less fundamental but equally well thought out.
Minor inconvenience, I happened to miss a record because I forgot to press a second time on the record button. It's bitching, but it was my fault. You just know and verify that the record is well underway before relaxing.
Value for money excellent that risks being lost in the short term by Zoom H1 for those who do not need 4 microphones. In addition it comes with accessories including a handy handle and an anti-pop that transformed it into a microphone interviewing ultra-practical.
