Apex Electronics 210
This ribbon mic is made exclusively for studio use due to its incredible clarity and depth as well as its extreme fragility. Arguably the most unique feature of this mic is its reliance on phantom power, which normally destroys ribbon mics but is necessary to power this one. It pays off with a really nice, rich tone that is very useful.

Apex has done a great job here. This mic is one of my favorites. If you like the sound of a particular room and want it to be part of your recording, these need to be a part of your arsenal. I've been using mine for over six months at the studio I work at, and we can't get enough of them over here! I think it's pretty amazing how well they pick everything up. The tone is generally rich and colorful, if not the most accurate representation of the sound. However, that's not really what they are used for (at least not for me personally). I've used them as room mics on drums, pianos, and amps (guitar and bass), and they work wonders to the overall sound. I've also set one up on a piano with two 210‘s, and I really enjoyed the sound that the combination achieved. One thing that sets them apart from other ribbon mics is that you don't have to be careful about signals being too loud. With most ribbon mics its easy to destroy the ribbon if the signal is too loud. You probably still wouldn't want to put it too close to a snare or an amp just to be safe (and because it isn't really made for that kind of recording anyway.) Also, know that if the mic is dropped or mishandled the ribbon has a very good chance of breaking so extreme caution must be taken. I haven't really had the opportunity to try many other ribbon mics, but the few that I did try didn't come close to this one. They are really expensive but if you're ready to use them they are totally worth it. I would recommend them to any studio owner, or anyone who wants to capture the sound of the room that they are recording in.

Apex Electronics 210
Micro tape, delivered in fly box to keep it upright when the range, very useful ....
it looks sturdy, practical to have with its axis pivot, even if it is imposed even when .... the only thing it's less convenient cable that is not dconnectable.

I did a test first and only today, a couple in Stereo atmosphere battery .... the least we can say is that we had not the rsultat! that's exactly what I expected, a soft and warm wishes, with all that I had CHARACTERISTICS Submitted micro tape .... a cash levels is not an end in the high rev, but so what prsence and what heat! rgal real! attention is trs typ like his, do not try to finesse the cymbals .... with good momentum against the fts!
I wait to test on bass and guitar .... yum!

The report price is excellent quality, if any time there is no problem of reliability in time ..... we'll see a ......

I use it for a year
I did not test other pickups I wanted something decent price level dynamics (no PSU) I have a little hum on my console so I did not want to worry more

most is the accuracy of decision-voice let me explain:
there has been a sentence then someone other costs (with a fresh ear)
The result is surprising.

a lack of seriousness in cot apex fixation. when he is on his suport and give luis angle part tape moves at the same time and is placed against the gate.
With 2 cl flat 14 is tightened (not too hard either)
and the suspension is in two pieces you need to change the screw head with a wider rondelleelle largepour as it does not move
The XLR connection is not the butt of the microphone, but after a cable coming out of the microphone (can be a replica of the fragility of the bte (...?...)

Having no other example I would say that quality is a price.

Obviously it's pasdu neuman cot potato should be a good preamps I use on a M300 TC.Electronique for compression lgre a reverb which moreover does not need be too present, and a pop filter Studio Project, as the result is not bad. (We can do well trs good decision with far less)
Ave the exprience, I was taken with my SM58 and 855 of Senneiher or they have more punch cot restitution but I do not know what that does not allow me what I do with the Apex 210 (commeun lack of presence in the mix), but I'm not a pro so ...) The contours of votes shall (TRS) Defines property restitution even without compression or other treatment supplmentaire

Beware the microphone is handled with care

I shook so hard to aporte a note for lack of another micro of the same type

Apex Electronics 210
Micro Ribbon

For 1 week
(Everything was said above ..)
It is a remarkable micro bit expensive for an amateur like me.
I have several microphones, rode ntk, seinheiser 945, shure sm57 .. etc. ..
This one is great "neutral" .. tricky.
on the other hand if I wanted the marmoset it has stuck a huge thread at the base ... grrrr he does not live on my foot, because its thread is maous big ..
