OVERALL OPINION
I bought two M3 a month ago on Thomann price of 76 € each, to use the atmosphere of my acoustic drums (overhead pair used in stereo).
From the first tests, I was immediately captivated by the sound reproducing these microphones. Without any EQ settings, I can already have a sound very similar to what I was looking, soft, smooth without being flat and dynamic. The sound of my cymbals is just beautiful, both Charleston, my ride or crash / china.
Also small detail that is important, the clamps are strong and hold fast the microphones, they do not move (it is even more difficult to stay in).
For me, the quality / price ratio is perfect, they are the best pickups I had in my hands. I would do without hesitation that choice, I think even a third order me to take over the sound of my snare drum.
