What is the particular feature you like best and least?
The +: The very precise pitch, the turntable which is great for scratch, sampler, hot cue, 6 effects, title display
The -: loading time too long with CD-R/RW (10 to 20 seconds) and the lack of a USB slot

How would you rate the quality / price? I bought used 360 € the pair and I do not regret my purchase, this is the equivalent of the CDJ 1000 Mk3. It will suit beginners to experienced.

With experience, you do again this choice? No ... because I'm interested in the pioneer or the CDJ 900 CDJ or Nexus 2000, with the experience I need more sophisticated equipment, but I'm attached to my DN-S 3500, they are really great and the quality is really there, if you want good plates at low prices and you are a beginner or experienced DJ, do not hesitate they are made for you

I use it for almost 4 years, after turning on turntables CD format rack system (AudioPhony CD5530).

I had the chance of getting a sale offering me 2 new decks for the price of a very, very big deal, of course, shot quality / price!

I am not using the turntable, unnecessary and not particularly accurate for a penny to mix the tempo, I must say that it was in the first to make this feature one ... effects are very "cheap", but it is not what I asked ... to the mix, I think it is a very good turntable, reliable. They traveled a lot (still rack) one of my decks took the water, I also played in a light rain, no worries, I played in the sand, dust, never had a problem. In short, it's tough! For me, it totally against the Pioneer CDJ1000 ...

I like to use are the loops and hot cues, very handy for the dynamic mix. Accuracy of pitch very good.

I used these plates for 3 years. it was my first "big" cd decks up my two turntables.

Before I had the TSB, the gemini, jb system of a dns1000, and try the pioneer.

These plates had only qualities, its very balanced output, flawless finish, robust onboard effects (things missing on the new Denon), the central plateau sturdy and pleasant to use. Never having read with mp3, I do not therefore have worries.

I bought two of occas dn S3500 (650 pair) there are about 6 months.
I did try that numarck NDX800, which really have nothing to do with those below.
one feels the reliability of these turntables, bontons (play, cue, loop, etc.) are very reactive, although qu'achetées of occas they never kidding!
I find the idea of ​​active plate very successful, you can make very good sense of scratches with vinyl, for my part I hold the pieces in the old (vinyl) and this is happiness!
effects do not look too bad (although adjustable anyway).
I recommend this évidamment platinum because it is really reliable, sturdy and the price very affordable compared to a certain brand that I do not cite as one might expect!
I do not think this deck back up but still in a range denon, put more resources and take me dn S3700 looks exelente for the price!

- What I like best: everything! excellent design (me who loves beautiful objects ...) the set with very good couple. The effects are good (use sparingly though). As for the scratch, I feel that there are "vinyl sounds" I can not reproduce ... The hot start is really fantastic and it would have been great to be able to program for 2 track CD and not by ... ago the memo function, but it takes time. Oh, another thing: the pitch is hypersensitive and I wish no one 6% or 8% as it offers 4% or 10% and anything in between .... hard!
- The only other model tested (I own) is to Omnitronic DJS 1100 is a next gadjet but which nevertheless has a nice pitch.

- Yes I do it again this choice and I would say that, paradoxically, this plate made me want to buy a Technics vinyl! Highly an update firmware to refine the pitch (I always come back!)

- What is so special that you like most and least?
As my predecessor, I fell in love with the design of the beast, his pace is very robust, only the set that weighs heavily in the hands gives an impression of the finishing machine pro (and it's not an impression! ).
Another feature I like because I speak of the plateau, is obviously very, very compelling feature scratch. No complaints at this level, I am not disappointed (in fact I was a little afraid of the effect of latency direct drive ...), I think is a more undeniable, and torque set is no exception. So of course, as has been noted on the previous opinion, all vinyl effects are not reproducible on this board (or on any other cd deck in my opinion ...), point diamond placed in the hollow of a groove here, this should explain it, and the specificity of vinyl should ensure its continuity with the emergence of digital material. This feature aside, this does not prevent you from making phrases scratch very good, you just need to be aware of what is lost (and what we earn) through the support CD .
Another promising feature of this machine is certainly the memo function (among other things is this feature which would have decided to choose this model), but I have not really had the opportunity to explore. The two points of hot starts are among the features which I will now find it difficult to do without, not to mention the 15-second sampler pitchable that provides a real plus in a game live ...

The only real special feature of the DN-S3500 which I'm not really sure is the hit of the buttons Play, Cue, etc ... This is certainly a matter of habit, but for now I just feel like sinking into the rubber ... This detail seems particularly troublesome in the famous hot start buttons that do not always like clockwork, but this problem should be solved by updating the system of the plate ... Another little thing a little disturbing is the inability to use simple playback deck, without having to deal with timing cue .. (Unless it is an adjustment to the memos, it remains to be seen ...).

I have not talked effects (echo, echo loop, flanger and filter), which according to the use made of it can be good tools, especially the echo stalled tempo and looped through the sampler ...

No, I did not have equivalent models of the hands before the denon. The only platinum cd I have also owned, was the pioneer CDJ100 of which was an excellent product, but it's still day and night ...

After getting started, I think it's a good report, the design is serious and it seems solid (at least I hope!).

Undoubtedly, there are even a second chance to come sit with this one ...

To make a short summary, I will say that the handling of the machine is very intuitive, despite the profusion of pots and advanced features. The work area was well designed, and I think the buttons on hot starts could not be better housed than in the upper part (questions for this game between the start and scratch ...). Excellent product.

PS: something I forgot to mention is the sound quality, because even if I do not have a high-end installation (it's the least I can say :-(), the dynamics and clarity of the sound seemed to me very convincing ...

The plate + engine are immitis, glides well coming up bp, and especially we may well get excited without breaking the diamond (tremor of the hand going well). The sound is generally correct (no sharp digital sounds) ...

--- Scratcher but for very technical, attention! if you go too fast, am not the beast and I noticed a big fps lag (qques tenths of seconds) on ralentissments done by hand which gives a very dismal indeed. Likewise if you turn too fast the plate (always by hand), we lose completely the beach and you must replace the piece at first.

The price is right qd we imagine the technology that is the ds ptite box.

When is the ultimate digital imitation scratch? For now it is clear that the Denon S3500 is on the market, one of the machines closest to the +.

I love the design and finish is impeccable!

Sample memory card --- t would welcome! if it persists too much on set, it be a little lag time ... But overall ca remains correct.

This is my first purchase, and I'm not disappointed, I have almost new pay 675 instead of 800 so that the ratio quality price is even more apreciation!

With the experience so I do it again without hesitation that choice, but I must first test the CDJ1000MK2

on the other hand I would not recommend to mix with MP3 ... it's really long to load and the advantage with the audio CD is that it hold its own on the first beat BPM helps a little stall has two runways and is accurate enough I find (sometimes it doubles the tempo but on some type of zik only) Voila, go for it if you want a deck with a high tech feature scratch advance!

I use the 3500 for 2 months. I already had a DN-D6000 (already amazing) and I bought a 3500 for 'toy', and I'm not disappointed.
The tray motor is phenomenal! Even a dork of the DJ can take control and make great stuff in qq minutes (my opinion of course).
It lacks the Alpha track to be complete. Denon go, good news in the future? An S5500 can be?
In short I feel the 2nd coming quickly, less than a replacement for the S5000?. This confirms my choice.
Money it could not be more correct.
Quality simply: after two plates (a 2000F and 6000) without fault, why not do?
