The SLS collection has been built with the “prog-metal shredder styled player in mind, ” according to Schecter. A slim satin-finished 25.5” scale maple neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard are set-in with a neck joint designed to allow for playing comfort and access to the upper frets.
The Mahogany bodies are also slimmer than their standard Schecter counterparts.
The SLS Collection is about options, and the standard models are available with the player’s choice of pickups. The Active Set utilizes two Seymour Duncan Blackouts AHB-1 pickups, while the Passive option comes with a combo of Seymour Duncan Full-Shred and Jazz. Both sets are designed to feature an array of rock, jazz, and heavy tones.
A TonePros System or an Original Floyd Rose 1000 Locking tremolo are available. Multi-Ply binding, Mother of Pearl 12th fret ‘Hell’s Gate Skull’ inlay, Black Nickel Hardware, and Schecter Locking Tuners are standard.
Available in Satin Black and Dark Blue Sunburst with figured maple top.
Pricing:
The Blackjack SLS Guitars start at $1,119.00.
