Sizzeling sound
Published on 07/26/11 at 13:11Wow this company keeps pumping out the goods. They are effectively design and marketed great quality and sounding amplifiers. Many touring and professional artists all over the globe are now turning towards Blackstar for their guitar amplifier needs. The have successfully taking a huge niche in the market over the last few years.
This amp sounds fantastic in both the clean channel and the gain channel. The most impressive thing is how natural it sounds and how well balanced the two channels are with the independent voicing gain structures. This is the same amp feature wise as the head version but only in a combo. You get the same great tone ans sound as you would from the other version...…

SOUNDS
The tone from this amp is remarkable. The clean channel is brilliant on its own. It has a sparkle character that makes you feel the tone of the guitar in your hands. There is a quality to the guitar amp that makes you notes just pop and chime the way you desire a good clean channel to give you.The overdrive channel sounds fantastic in both humbucker pickup guitars and single coil pickup guitars. The tone is robust and smooth at the same time. It is an amp that just sounds amazing every note you strum or pluck on your guitar. You do not have to strain too hard to find a great sound and tone out of this classic little combo amp.
OVERALL OPINION
At new these amps come in at around $599 which is just a steal of a price if you ask me. They have such a quality of tone to them that is superb. I only hope other amp companies take notice at the sound of these amps.
If you need a good sounding amp that will not break your budget too much then this might be the amp for you. They have 2 amazing channels and each on their own is worth the price if this amp.

UTILIZATION
many different sounds are obtained with good settings.
the master volume is great, you can put the volume knob clean thoroughly and that of saturated and also lower the master to play at home channel, great sound!
and rehearsal, the beast spits a huge volume.
reverb is also very good, comparable to a good spring.
SOUNDS

Super distortion, nice and warm, the real HIS LAMP!
when your lights will nazes, try another a little better the sound will be even better, a killer!
OVERALL OPINION
I recently, I really tried a lot of amps and guitars in all possible styles, and for such a price, I do not know better.
I wanted to buy new for the warranty and loyalty to my music store.
but at 500 euros occas look no further you have the gem.
and the icing on the cake that I forgot to mention is that once you remove the jack it automatically goes into stanby for the lamps continue to heat but is protected.
to turn it off, down to the bottom master, wait qq minutes and you turn it off, you will not risk damaging it.
in short, an amp UPSCALE be safe

Pleasure, low price!
Published on 10/20/11 at 15:13 (This content has been automatically translated from French)20W all-tube amp that sounds hard, 2 channels, hp 12 inch Celestion (which?), Invoice Asia. Finish class!
- Clean channel: volume one, setting a tone.
- Channel Crunch / Lead: volume, 3-band EQ, a gain setting of "ISF".
Controls reverb (digital) and the master are common to the two channels.
UTILIZATION
It should not be very smart to understand how it works, the amp is very simple and the sound is there without too much set.
The huge plus of this amp is the Master Control (common to 2 channels), plus the volume on the clean channel, and in addition the volume and gain on channel saturated. It's great, it's like to have a pad built into the amp!
So, we can play it...…

So, we can play it anywhere, apart 'as on stage, having a good sound regardless of the volume.
SOUNDS
Controls a little rough the clean channel (vol, tone) I was a little scared at first. But that's where comes the great surprise I was expecting to have a clean cut-price (thinking that the interest lay in the amplifier channel saturated), it is not! The sound is very good, not American, not very dynamic but with nice bass. Obviously it will be difficult to customize without equalizer upstream, adjusting tone is quite limited. But frankly, with my Les Paul, the beast sounds at home in jazz, and not be ashamed about my Rivera. The digital reverb is much better than spring reverbs moult often a crock. The only adjustment of tone is a bit limited though, a small Bright switch would not swear.
Note that the clean and can be pushed only slightly saturates that pushed donf.
Boosted channel offers plenty of possibilities, with a little tact. The ISF control makes me think of the contour controls on certain Marshall. It is supposed to make us move from the british to its Rican. I can not judge too, because I was expecting to have a more to the old (and I'm not too aware of the modern sounds). Well, no. Disappointed the old man. It sounds very very good, but too modern for me. I strip about an old AC15, or Class 5 Marshall (who themselves are absolutely wrong practices for the stage). I feel the big one soon reaches saturation, and crunches are hard to light chopper, but now I may have failed to correctly set the amp, not having tried in-store .
OVERALL OPINION
Note that I've only tried 30 minutes in the store, and I do not have.
It is the ideal amp for those who love the sounds pretty saturated modern transportable (20kg), practical, comprehensive connectivity, two canals that ring of hell, a versatile sound pretty crazy (jazz, blues, funk, rock, hard, metal so I'm guessing), playable everywhere, at all volumes, finished class ... I would see little flaws. To see the long term.
A quality / equipment / price that will provide formidable may be a little concerned some brands sleepy (who said Marshall? ^ ^).

amp powerful, good sound, a try ...

effect loop output and additional hp in 2 X 1 X 16 ohm or 8 ohm.
1 x 4x 12 cabinet simulation quite successful.
amp standby to insert the input jack facade! (we remove the jack and AC goes into standby).

The sound is very round and powerful in SONC clear despite the absence of real EQ, c is very correct and quite low (state-channel drive because it is lacking and there is an imbalance between the two channels, but still lightweight same). for the boosted channel, c is powerful and vintage at the same time, a low level, you get very interesting crunch and a half, we enter sounds heavy, but with a vintage sound, basically, is c vintage, but the chest and a ca ca saturates well (too well). but as previously mentioned, it lacks fullness and bass.
SOUNDS
I use the amp as a basic repeated and also for small scenes, and c is more than enough power, there are all the same 2 el 34 (config marshall 50 watts!). bemeol a little for the lack of bass in drive channel, but ca n removes nothing has the sound quality and marque.même if c is manufactured in korea! that answers many al attack, but not if that slammed into a push-pull amplifier is c ... less nervous, more vintage sound ... is limited drooling a high saturation.c is quite compressed, expressive, just the lack of bass that is a little experience (with damage!)
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for almost a year and am not disappointed.
but J will prefer to take it in mind because could be more interesting to plug in an enclosed cab, the lack of bass will be less affected.
good plan for the price and the quality ...
to buy eyes closed but try anyway.
Guaranteed vintage sounds.
