SONORITS

I play mostly rock, jazz, prog times; no Mtal.
I wanted a sound prcis in all circumstances I served!
The clean sound is clean and the remaining high-volume, lightweight crunch with my tone zone in the bridge position.

I tried a lot of things: the jcm 800, through peavey classic 30, fender twin ...
These amps have a beautiful sound, but one sound .The usable Relement screamer allows great versatility with very credible sounds in several genres.

All tube amplification, with 3 lamps type 12AX7 in preamp and 2-lamp type 12AX7 6L6 + 1 (?) For the power amp of APRS site ENGL, dlivrant a power of 50W.

The brand offers four beautiful canals, with, front face, a common qualisation 3 bands (bass, mid, treble). A volume for the channel clean / crunch, and another for the lead / lead heavy, it also availing oneself of a rglage gain and presence (a gain for the clean / crunch have nice t but it passes easily). It also has a button for the "bright", which works on all 4 channels but also audible on the clean / crunch, then a rglage reverb. Everything is driven by a very good master volume.

UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

OVERALL OPINION

It is now six months although it replaces my SCXD, and my only regret is not taking this amp ds beginners to enjoy it more than tt, I would do it without hesitating and choice he will not leave my house when I replace it with a head very high end. I like its sound, its versatility and simplicity. Final score of 8 / 10 So.

PS: Be careful though at the footswitch, to take full advantage of the amp must paste it ENGL Z-5, but the price is not given ENGL footswitch!
