[NAMM] 4 new Waldorf products

Waldorf posted a video to announce the four new products that will be introduced at NAMM. It includes a Eurorack module.

The 2015 products are mainly software, but Waldorf will also debut the first wavetable generator in Eurorack format.

The NW1 will feature three inputs, each with its gain knob and a three-way switch (Tune, Brilliance and Travel for input 1 ; Tune, Position and Travel for input 2 and Spectrum, Position and Noisy for input 3), a Travel section with Gate input, a CV input with a trim, a –12 / +12 tuning section with pitch knob, an audio output and a USB port.

On the software part, iPad users will soon be able to download the iOS version of the Attack drum synth, with its dual oscillator, filter section, dual envelope, amp section, mixer, modulation, 16-step sequencer, pad and mixing pages, 4 effect section with delay, EQ, drive, phaser, flanger, chorus and vocoder each, as well as reverb and compressor, etc.

On the opposite, iPad owners will also be able to get their Nave wavetable synth app on their computer, for a VST, AU and RTAS plug-in version is on its way, with an innovative 3D wavetable edit function.

Last, Waldorf will upgrade its Edition bundle to version 2, which will include the new Attack, D-Pole and PPG Wave 2.v synths and effects.
