I acquired this unit so that I could record different parts of the songs that I write in order to write new parts over them.
I went online to research products that allow you to do so. I found many different options, though my price range was not significantly large.
Because of this, I was forced to settle for less. Though with this digital recorder, I hardly did that. I found a great deal at Musicians Friend where I got the recorder,
a mic and chord, a tote bag, and the flashcard that is used to record memory. All of this for just 349.99




I liked the ease of learning how to use this recorder. I hardly even had to use the manual
to figure things out. At the same time, it provided all of the functions that I had been searching for in a recording unit.
I could quickly and easily lay down a number of tracks from my keyboard. Then a couple more from my guitar, mix those down to Tracks
Five an Six, then record vocals and any other things i wanted to add, mix all of that to tracks 7& 8. At that point I had created a song that could be easily transferred to my
PC via the built in USB port, Making it ready for burning.


The one thing that I don't really like about the unit is the way that memory is stored.
The Flashcard that came with the recorder had very little room for songs, so I have been forced to by more
flashcards to suffice my recording desires.though that is only one slight downfall.



I feel that the MR-8 was constructed very well. I have had no problems as of yet. It has only
been good to me so far. For the price of the unit, its quality must be considered supreme.


Overall I recommend this unit to any aspiring musicians that are looking for a cheap and easy way to
record their songs and expand their musical abilities.

UTILIZATION

Super easy to use, but the manual is in English (I-inne spique gliche so it goes)

SOUNDS

The converters seem good, the effects are average, but somehow I do not need. And that's not why I took it.
The EQ for mixing, however, are very effective, it gives me a potato acoustic electric guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

I for a month. I took it to small pieces (classical and composite characters).

The important criterion: the sound is stored without compression, thus without loss of quality.

Plus: implements the standard usb-mass-storage, so you can get all the sound files under Linux (see tip)

For the budget that I wanted to set and quality (no compression), tails-coat what I want, so if it again, I would.

The connection is complte, except possibly to be prinses RCA output to connect an amp show. But hey, there are connections! Sampling excellent, high quality sound. For the card at least 256MB prvoyez or 512MB or 1GB (70 in the Internet commerce) to be really comfortable.

UTILIZATION

Operation is simplicity of a child. It is taken in hand quickly and a piece of refined Fast Fashion (recording and mixing) is done in 2 hours with plenty of time to treat the effects and sounds taken ... a big bravo to the manual, I have rarely found as clear and concise!

SOUNDS

This is the big highlight of the MR8. The uncompressed spring "nickel" and mastering effects give a "EHJV" extraordinary piece. Finally, we released a CD of high quality trs with a rate of almost no wind. effects "micro" are well trs raliss the rverb also ... OVERALL OPINION

I for 1 month. I quickly able to record my keyboard parts that taient pr-dj mixes, then add the vocals, choirs and solo acoustic guitar. The price quality ratio is excellent, and it's a choice really intelligent trs!

UTILIZATION

I Tlcharger good record on the Internet because English is not my forte. I must say that I only use it for recording, the rest is done via the PC.

OVERALL OPINION

1 year ago bought secondhand Cash Converters I n'tais not at all by the multitrack who offered me a great service in my compositions. (See here http://thefugacity.free.fr/ to cost no war). Currently I have sold a Boss BR600, as the pace box to include am interested in my compositions.
