« Chrome aesthetic or not? »

My opinion on this microphone is primarily aesthetic (because it counts). I find it great. But I can not understand why some are in hard "chrome" (as in The Voice few days ago with Ruddy) and others seem very dull. I want to buy a new one and I find it hard to see which style is "chrome", could you help me?
