16 bits / / 48 KHz / / 64 MB max
Technically, this is the stuff of the 90s (the memory and SCSI).
Use of complex and time excutive trs slow.
(Notably the transfer with the card SmartMdia the dcoupes Loop etc etc ....)
That said, 3 hours APRS have built their samples
and then configured in a program,
it is enjoyable to use in the synthesis of squenceur.
Also, thanks this card, you will have between stro (jacks)
allowing the use of multi-synth effects.
Anything.
It's impeccable.
240 euros still sold new in the trade in June 2006.

Finally a real WorkStation.
This card comes with 16 MB of ram.
(FYI also, the ram installed in the same synth
and not on the map sample).
You can install up to 64 MB
But it's old stuff. Korg How did such a opration bones?
I usually am for the hardware and rather against the computer.
The exception is:
if you want a good sampler easy to use and fast excutive ...
Consider a software solution!

Two mono inputs.
Sample Rate: 48 kHz, 16 bit linear.
SIMM 72 pin EDO. The option comes with a linear array of 16 Mb. Sampling memory is expandable up to 64 Mb.
SCSI interface.
Simple installation. There are a few screws to remove and reuse.
In addition to being able to sample with the stereo line input, this extension allows to work in depth their own samples. There is a list of pretty cool features. The greatest pleasure I believe, is able to convert his "multisample" to "program". Here begins a long work on filters, amps, LFOs. It's very enjoyable.

It is true that the execution time is long especially when you ask her to manipulate the synth samples. But hey, we can not expect the performance to run a computer. This option is identical to the sampling on board the Triton. The SCSI interface has somewhat before, the memory used as well. The fact remains that this card sampling adds real value to the synth. We take pleasure to sample, edit, create their own Programs.
