- What characteristics have motivated your choice?
Ula, I hesitated with other model like Presonus FirePod or Fireface 800.
I finally made the connection you Traveler for analogue and digital (XLR, Jack, AES / EBU, ADAT, S / PDIF)
and for CueMix and the ability to create four different mix and instantaneous!
- For what purpose?
I mainly use the motu to the recording studio. for now, because I'm going to use it as a mixing console (stand alone) now that I'm well established with! I also bcp mount CD / DAT ..
- What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
Powerbook G4 1.67 Ghz 2GB RAM 15-inch

- Which instruments and systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) you use it and how connections? ...
I expect a lil Presonus Eureka, an RME OctaMic D (ADAT), the advantage with this sound card is that you can put everything on it, since it has all the necessary connections.
UTILIZATION
- The installation is done it without problems?
auncun problem, 0 bug, that's all by itself, it does not even take 5 minutes ...
- Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
honestly no, it's plug and play! Installing and play!
- The general configuration is easy?

OVERALL OPINION

few months (acquired in March I think) I am more than happy achter Specials 800 euros!
- What is so special that you like most and least?
most: portability ... I think very slight I slipped into my bag of protable, the two fall gently and shoo! yardstick ze raude euguène!
there is also a separate phantom power supply 4 (1 per mic) ca roxx!
the least: go a lil something: the buttons are very close for it to be compact and should be minuscieux when handling. (It's really something to say - because frankly it does not bother me!)

yes Multiface II with a friend, even operating principle but in RME, MOTU I prefer: bcp clearer!

a 800 euros I say bravo! quality preamps and convert. is very good! Gain level is elevated largment! It sounds very well MOTU!
