So apparently you cannot run two instances of the liquid saffire 56 at the same time (aggregate device) unless you run one on stand alone mode and then you can't modify it's liquid preamps.

So my questions are;

  • [*]Are the preamps of the liquid saffire 56 and the saffire pro 40 the same?[newline]
  • If I set the liquid preamps to null, will they have the same sound and characteristics as the other 6 preamps on the liquid saffire 56?
  • And will both units (liquid 56 and 40 pro) work under aggregate device?
