Playback fails when using ASIO4ALL

I can record OK with ASIO4ALL as the audio device; but to play back a recording, I must switch to MME/DirectX. I would like to play back a recording without having to reconfigure the audio setup each time. In the audio setup, I have my system's "Realtek HD" as the output (works in all other apps) and "Focusrite" as the input. Can anyone lend me a hand?

Never mind. Focusrite tech support informed me that playback through computer's sound card is not supported. To obtain playback of what is recorded, I had to use a separate sound system, like active speakers, connected to the Line outputs on the Scarlett 2i2. But line out to a mixer -> sound system worked for me, with latency of 2.2 ms and no dropouts. Cool!
