Ableton Live 6

Ableton running smoothly with my projects (8-10 Hypersonic MIDI tracks with audio tracks 8-10 with about 3-5 plug-in) resource consumption 50% on average. If I add GuitarRig with 10ms faster it goes to 70-80%.

But I am satisfied with the quality / price ratio of my stuff.

Unless some bug in guitarRig2 absolutely no stability problem.

I use Live for 3 years and my version 6 for a week.

The multi-threading, which provides a speed boost. Project management, the améloirations graphics, function keys ...

I immediately flasche for Live because it offers me the opportunity to make music live and work in an intuitive and flexible. The section is very comprehensive DAW and has nothing to envy, which is for the use that I actually have Cubase or another.

Before I was on Reason, and seeing the Live interface I was a little scared. But two small lessons and the handling was done very quickly. Otherwise the manual is very well done (in French!).

This is where Live can be a problem. The purchase of this program changed my computer. Before I had a Toshiba laptop pentium 4 to 3.06 GHz. Well it worked, but the process was quickly overloaded with Live, Cubase + Reason while it was a joke louse him. You'll understand that Live is greedy (it also depends on the VST you put in it ...).

Now I have a dual core proc and a lot of Ram, it's better. Still, a small optimization software would not hurt (good move, as they did a very good audio engine, I'm going to put a note!).

I use the two platforms on a prod for windows (pc 3.2GHz xp pro + 1024 MB RAM sound card Audiofire gina) + x board keyboard and remote zero sl 25 rs 7000 + ... and mac (macbook dual core 1024 MB RAM) + + gina Audiofire remote zero sl for live shipment of wood .... ca ....
j uses for the product in live with several log and rewire vst ca nikel turns ....

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using the version 3 j updates Buy all year around € 120 to download ... j have tried many other programs prior to Cubase SX3, fruity loops 6, acid 5, sonar 4 ... j I even bought protools 7 and c vaiment best of all .... m I said after the software tame (which is pretty easy) c a racing .. c for the product fast, easy, efficient (after including the pro sonar cubase pro or pro protools and they are many ... .... but I think that c is not to blame for taking the time to so but in any case c for me the best possible compromise between perfomance and creativity ...
to live truly the best c ...
Save the most ... more tracks at the same time .... the freeze that are not ..
