Yes, the software itself each closing cubase I had a imcompatibilités prompt in Windows 7 64bit and mix console that made me a white screen every time I wanted to open it, but since the last time a day (05/07/30) I have no problems FINALLY !!!!!

The latest update (5.7.30) settled my problems except with my software Arturia Oberheim SEM V which crashes occasionally, but it's the only one!

As said above the last update my set of problems and I finally gain stabiliter, and I'm quiet when I work (for once the media understood my problems) and in cubase 5 is still more etaits quiet at this level the !!!

+ It is the most beautiful, the console is nice to use and I like Padshop it sounds interesting and easy to use, editing, midi audio is still as simple and neat and orderly timeline is a reference on all under the eyes right away and live it's convenient, I like Retrologue but I stand by my hunger!

The least - I'll be live !!! but for 525 euros you always have a groove agent 4 and halion sonic se (light version) I think its still limits for the price of the software it could put us a full version and turn mystic and spector that either many interest !!!

OVERALL OPINION

So I have not tested all the functions of the V7
The channel strip appears well made but I have not yet feeling good settings to get what I want especially to the compressor.
The vari Audio2 I see this in the week on 6.5 VariAudio V1 I had been rendering services made with a singer too "floating" and on chroeurs, ca me squarely saved a song and a day work.

My overall opinion /
Logical but not revolutionary compared to competitors, cubase is a choice of taste or habit but it pays a bit pricey though ... too billable options (air conditioning, abs ..) metaphor that leaves you a bitter taste .. I made this choice because lgtps user since ... I will go after my hardware configuration with Cubase versions yes ... but I do not have that choice certainly refer to relearn with competitors more attractive. what trouble me because cubase is very good, not perfect but expensive with options that go.

NB I use a 10aines of plug ins VST audio processing (the nomad fatory especially for bass or drums) Cubase for the rest of the effects enough for me for vocals, guitars are processed externally by Torpedo and AXE FX, keyboards are engeristrés in waves and noon to allow sound options if needed.
