3 new Chase Bliss Audio guitar effect pedals

On the Warped Vinyl mkII analog vibrato/chorus and Wombtone mkII analog phaser, the 16 dip switches have been moved to the rear flank of the stompbox (they were previously installed on the bottom).

The Warped Vinyl mkII now features a tone circuit with which you can obtain effects ranging from hi-fi chorus to pitch modulation and everything in between. The vibrato range has also been increased and the noise reduced.

The Wombtone mkII includes a two-stage mode, a new feedback circuit and a global dry/wet mix. The global phaser speed was also slowed down.

The big new is Gravitas, an analog tremolo equipped with a discrete Class A boost circuit and Burr-Brown op-amps. The settings are digitally controlled. The pedal offers two action modes (harmonic inspired by a vintage Brownface, and standard) that are cascaded and can be combined in order to obtain a rich modulation effect. Gravitas features 6 knobs: drive, volume, tone, rate, depth and sway (modulation movement), various switches to choose the operation mode/time division, waveform for each half part of the modulation (square, triangle or sine) or recall the presets. You’ll also find two footswitches for the bypass and tap tempo as well as 16 dip-switches on the rear side of the enclosure, just like on the other mkII effects.

The Gravitas offers 1/4” mono input and output, a 1/4” TRS expression/CV pedal input and a 1/4” TRS port for Tap or interfacing the pedal with the Empress Effects Midibox.

All the Chase Bliss Audio pedals are MIDI-controllable and include 122 presets that also can be recalled via MIDI, along with two internal user-presets.

The Warped Vinyl mkII and Wombtone mkII will be available next April 23rd for the US price of $349 each. The Gravitas will be released during Q2, 2015, Chase Bliss Audio announces a priec of $299.
