Tired of limitations of Boss HM-2. Needed a more versatile distortion that still had a ton of crunch like the Boss. $75 + shipping
The JH-1 has a wide range of sounds from a fairly mellow overdrive to a mid-scooped all out metal growl. Great EQ system with separate knobs for treble, bass, and mids.
It really lowers the signal / cuts the volume when turned off even though it is supposed to have true bypass switching.
Small pedal. Very sturdy construction of brushed metal. Easy access to battery compartment (unlike Boss).
The best all around distortion pedal that I have ever used. I love this thing.
