I use the pedal for 6 months. I played exclusively on Vox rdition. A little lass by the known defects of rdition (no bypass, acute crillards, transition Bass / treeble too brutal, no power supply ...) EAC came perfectly fill these gaps and propose a wah very musical, very pro.

After having had the opportunity to play recently on an original vox mc coy, I could see how much the CAE finally allows to accurately reproduce the sound and feel of the legendary Wah. The presence of boost and inductors option allowing it to adapt even all configs guitars, amps. Superb. Only lightweight BMOL the rglage Q is not external demand and opening the watch case.

SOUND QUALITY

Strong point of the pedal.

The pedal

UTILIZATION

The scale is sensitive prcise and progressive. The potentiomtre of boost also.
The switch is silent. The boost is transparent.
Activation of the boost and the choice of door Fasel are up and snap easily.

SOUND QUALITY

SOUND QUALITY

For me, the old-wah, aggressive but not too dark but not too musical. We can play the shaft in its quiet clear. With distortion, it does extremely well too. We keep a good momentum, the first of the qualities essential to any effect for me. Change the curve, we are left with a universe a bit more serious, darker, it is clearly audible, but it's still in the same spirit, just as musical.
And FINALLY, real transparency (true bypass or not, it will be bumps). Tired of these pedals is that switchers or add gadgets to get real transparency when it does not use the wah. Here, for once, no difference in effect not directly engaged and guitar.
And the boost is a little icing on the cake: practical, not mandatory, does not color the sound (well, really a tiny tad).

Fasel both provide very good versatility.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a week. It replaces my ibanez WH10 v2 (switch death). I blamed the latter has difficulty activating effect and the increase in volume when switching. The EAC meets my needs perfectly. It is not about to leave my pedalboard.
