Electro-Harmonix Signal Pad

I have not invested in this ink pedal but I command.

For my part, I like the really very good sound. That's why I play on the Hughes and Kettner amp any lamp, and pickups Seymour Duncan or EMG.

For the former, the Seymour Duncan, I opt for the passive models SH-55.
In contrast to the EMG I prfr take conventional, mount 81-85 and the other 81-60.

You have surely noticed the difference for most of the output level of passive and active pickups.

Or on active pickups and with an open guitar knob to the maximum, we often find ourselves with the distortion in the clean channel attack when the strings a bit strong, but also with the signal peak of its transmitter receiver constantly lit! So the first reflex is to lower the portard! Big mistake. The linear knobs at the signal are rendered somewhat non-existent ... This means that we completely changed the grain and the sound quality dlivr by microphones !! (It is in this case very con of having bought the assets EMG H4 and H4 A t have enough !!)

So this pedal will serve me, between my two connectors HF receiver of my system and between my amp, lowering the level of my guitar signal to attack the receiver slowly, and it without changing my sound. Thus, in concert, I could change between passive pickup guitar and microphone active with a click of the foot and not my levels remodifiant each change.

However, I admit that the report is a little utility tariff bones ... especially for this kind of pedal that can be even ... (I admit, I cracked, lack of time and desire sent me to buy this pedal-made ...)

Voil at least for my utility is perfect!

A volume knob with a switch, a battery just to power the LED, otherwise it's full liability.

Produces ultra simple, so convenient and cheap.

UTILIZATION

I use in two situations:
- Turn the preamp distortion in my clean / crunch, a kind of second channel (or rather a second gain).
- In the effects loop of my head lamps. It's been a little office attenuator, in reality, it is here that a second "master" series. There are more ideal for volume easily play softly while pushing the preamp tubes (but not the amp, why we must invest in an attenuator)

Two uses for something stupid € 25, I say 10/10!

SOUND QUALITY

I personally love the clean / crunch obtained with the signal pad. Of course it was not really a second channel, against the transitions are perfect, the sound is really in the same spirit, the same color and I love the natural balance of the output volume between the two:
- From clean to distortion: you really feel you loose the cavalry
- From distortion to clean: restore calm without losing its place in the mix

Not need to adjust the millimeter volume knobs for both channels, where the balance is automatic!

Good must not expect to get out of the fender cleans starting with a Hi-Gain channel but I like this natural look! (Not all in the mind modeling with a fender clean, the crunch of a vox distortion and a mesa)

Verdict 7/10, because I love it, but it does not meet all expectations.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it everywhere and all the time is very small, very practical and sounds.

For the price, this is definitely something to put in your toolbox!

Not suit everyone, but overall it's really good!

Analog pedal
A mono input jack 6.35, a mono output jack 6.35.
A volume knob. A true bypass switch.
9v battery or transformer to power ... the diode (otherwise the effect is passive: no need for power).

UTILIZATION

I use it for analos synths that have no volume knob (kind Microzwerg) to avoid the saturation effect in the chain.

OVERALL OPINION

The offer in this area is reduced (I wonder if this is not the only product of its kind? At least in these prices), I have not tried other models.
It's simple, no need for power (unless you want the diode), and you solve your problems of volume too high ...

This is a passive signal attnuateur format nano pedal brand.
It features an in, an out, an activation switch (true bypass), a knob to dispense the volume and plug type transformer 9v boss (you can also feed the stack).
It is the equivalent of the volume knob on the guitar.
Simple and effective it can transform a crunch or distortion in its clear by acting on the volume of any instrument as transparent to the original signal. So a single channel amp can be transformed into two channels.
New it costs in the 38, I have purchase 30 on ebay so correct report qualitprix seen the quality and efficiency of manufacturing the product.
I would do it without hesitating choice. Especially to my knowledge there is no other brand that offers a similar product.
