I am 13, and the day after Christmas, I went with my dad to a Guitar Center in chicago, and he loaned me some money so that I could pay him back later for an amp that I was going to buy. Orignally, I was going to purchase either a Fender Deluxe 90 or a Flextone III, and the Flextone was out of my price range, and I saw the Vox first,and it had the misprinted pricetag of 399.99, so I purchased it. I bought it because I play in an alternative band and a blues band, so I needed modeling technology. Also, 399.99 for a NEW AD60Vt is a STEAL.

Practically everything. 8 banks with 4 channels each, all of them rewriteable, VERY USEFUL. the "pedal" section, although not great, has some useful features (like Models of the ProCo Rat, and classic Ibanez Tubescreamer really beef up your sound, especially when it is set on Recto. It is great if you play metal). The amp types are very good and useful, the valve reactor really makes it sound warm. The modulations (Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo and Rotary) are all useful and fun to play with, the tap tempo on delay is one of my favorites, along with the 3 other delays, three tyeps of reverb, which all sound good, and the power selector in the back is good when people are home and you cant turn it up, or when you want to crank one of the models, but dont want to shatter your eardrums.

The cosmetics are rather cheap. Also, there is no true clean channel, which is a little frustrating (although the Boutique CL does not have an overdrive, so I just use that).

Medoicre cosemtics (on the front), and do note: This is not an American made amp, so if you prefer handmade American amps, this is not one, though the quality is still very good, in my opinion.

Whether you have saved up a fortune for a new amp, need digital processing with valve warmth, or just need a gigging amp and dont have too much money, this is an amp you really should get. Definately the BEST amp I have ever used (I can't say own, because I only have one other amp, and the VOX is obvioulsy much,much better)

The Vox Valvetronix AD60VT guitar amp is a modlisation. The electronics of the preamp allows it to simulate the behavior of 16 amps legend. This preamp is aid in this by a 12AX7 tube ("valve" in English or "tube" in American).
The power section is electronic, no lamps that level.

As the name suggests, power is 60W, but it is possible through a potentiometer to select a lower power (1w, 15w, 30w or 60w). The advantage of this method is that you can play low volume while keeping the characteristics of the sound mute and avoiding the neighborhood / children / partner (delete as appropriate )

The other highlight of this amp is its logic.
5 presents the preamp modules through which the signal travels from the guitar.

UTILIZATION

I've had a week but I dcortiqu so I could test everything.
I find it daunting used with pdalier VC4 (not included with and not given but ...)

I use it for 2 months and I can not get enough of this amp. You can really do everything with: Funk, Jazz, blues, rock, hard, metal. I also bought the VC12 pdalier that goes with it and it was the foot (!), How easy to use! The total price of the set is a bit expensive but the sounds are really high then! I still love this amp. The caractéristiqus have not changed course and confirm that the 12AX7 tube, despite being considered a pre-amp lamp, is located in the amplification stage of the amp. The pedals or amps I like are:

My general view has not changed. But it still added two important points: the more I play with this amp, the more I am satisfied, mainly because of its sound quality. I was lucky because I got a nine € 400 in a small shop and therefore the value for money is more than acceptable. I do not have that choice would do because I was looking for a specific style and I was pretty disappointed because if this amp simulating the sound I was looking for (that of the AC15) it was still quite distant.

That said my poit of view is very subjective and ca is an amplifier of very good quality and best after me that the line 6 I find even more synthetic. For those who want to play a little bit of everything ca styles can be a good investment.

The AD60VT is for the Blue series (with the VTX AD120VT and their respective version) of the Vox Valvetronix: this is the first to be output, and the most famous. Production ceased around 2006, to benefit the Black Series (AD15-30-50-100VT and hi-gain versions XL), less expensive, but with fewer opportunities. Note: the current bear the name Valvetronix VT15-30-50-100.

This amp is ideal for those seeking an amp to do everything, whether in private or in concert, whether for jazz or big fat rock.
It is good in almost all areas (but with a predominance for sounds Vox-Fender-Marshall), which allows to form an idea of ​​the different amps before turning to a more specialized amplifier.
The Blue Series is the only one to accept the VC4 and VC12 pedal, which can have several sounds under the foot, and to control the Wah and Volume pedal through.

I used my AD60VT apartment for 2 years without ever disturbing the neighbors, and the sound was really good in this volume. I am fully satisfied, except higain.
I sold to buy a preamp ENGL E530 Modern Rock, guidance modern / higain, but much less versatile (chorus, flanger, and VC4 I missed terribly at the beginning!).

UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

Well given the type of amp (Modeling) it is difficult to assign a particular style. The principle of these amps still be extremely versatile.
But for me who did a lot of blues and rock, I would say that this style suits him very well.
The sound is warm, the effects are integrated, mostly of good quality.
For saturation, I use a little boost ahead of pre-amp (a TS-9 to keep the original ...), and I'm one watt of power on the switch back, which helps strengthen the warm side lamp integrated power.

Overall, even after several months of use, this amp tjrs surprised.
It happens to be bluffed by tjrs certain sounds.
All is not perfect, I had better clean sound, or sounds better lead with other amps, but some of my other amps do not do as well on any type of sound at the same time.
Furthermore none of my other amps (all lamps) was actually used in apartments.

OVERALL OPINION

I am very happy with this amp.

After 6 months of use, I decide to change the original HP HP for neodymium, as in version VTX.
So I put in a Jensen Tornado. And after a few days the opening of its advantage, much better defined, always accurate, even with heavy distortion.

Remains to be tested in closed combo version, can be made for a little more compression. I want juice, as soon as I tested.
