Nomad Factory Blue Tubes Bundle V3

The installation is a bit tedious, but is very simple and hassle free. In fact, they use a system that "hard-disk authorization" and that's a little heavy, because for each family of plug (EQ, Compressor, Effects, Trackbox), requested an on-site registration (automatic ), but a bit clumsy. I prfr a total registration for the bundle.
I had no compatibility problems with my host (Mackie Tracktion 3), everything works perfectly with the installation. There is not much paramtrer after installation, and it really screwed. Just put the plugs in the right place and have them by the host reconnatre

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

My computer is an AMD 2400 + / 1Gb SD RAM/400Gb (rpart) / CM Asus A7N8X-X/Carte Audiophile 24/96.
These plugs work without difficulty and are quite impressive even on the limited CPU power they consume. You really have to work on projects with stacks of standard plugins that began to bend!

OVERALL OPINION

I know these plugs for a long time trying to get them (v2), but the V3 brings new developments that made me finally take a license that will allow me to really use, especially for live etc ...

What struck me is the versatility INTERESTED (EQ, Compressor, Effects, Channel Strip) and the possibility of having a pack of plug-ins that are original, which brings something. I plug in the dj possde Kjaerhus Audio (all), and Ohmforce (all), especially those bundled with Mackie Tracktion. All involved in the sphre "numrique", in short, they are prcis terribly effective, but does not that little something.

And in the case of Blue Tubes. They sound terrible, their own (you have to forget that they mulate the Pultec / Fairchild / & co plutt and listen their sound), and are very efficient trs voices / instruments, but also on the sounds that would make most vintage synths.

Compressors are trs musical and EQ are quite magical. They are "soft" and enjoyable. About the effects is the general DLIR. Not always simple to use, but really spciaux. It sounds like the old records of 1977!

Note that I possde prampli a lamp (Mindprint Envoice) and dj I made a face prampli AU. So I also take reasonable benchmarks.

WARNING: Personal, I think they intend to plutt his "sound" or on which you want to put a noise footprint, which means that:

- The hard-techno and other music or you want to rev very precise, I doubt that the Blue Tubes trs are effective ... For example, to work the bass, they are soft. This is looking a bit to the rock / pop a little vintage, but not on the forcment Trance / Electro / etc ...

- We must avoid to put across as the one we end up with the cardboard a little artificial. I think that has to be a little similar with older vintage pramplis, but hey, a Pultec or Massenburg is 10 times the price of this bundle, so good, should not be too much to ask either !

- Do not look for "pretend". Take the bundle to find out what it is and draw quality.

Ct price, I've had for 340 euros on Do not Crac [k], taking advantage of current favorable trs dollars and summer specials (unfortunately, I have not bought VAT ). It is expensive, but if we did Whereas high-flying 19 plugins, trs cratifs the ratio quality price is good trs. Really.

So, I used to do in my mnage plugs, and keep only the essential, "Favorites," which greatly reduces the list.

I'm really happy with this purchase. I enjoyed myself, and I will enjoy using them on my music
