DF-CLARIFY is a tone shaping processor consisting of an internal algorithm that smooths out harsh cymbal and room frequencies.
Clarify
The main algorithm adjusting controls of DF-CLARIFY consist of the learn button, clarify amount knob, weight knob, and smooth knob. DF-CLARIFY will start creating a profile after the learn button is pressed and audio is playing through the plugin. The clarify amount knob will adjust how much of the algorithm is shaping the cymbal sound from minimum to maximum. Weight will determine where in the frequency range the algorithm will be applied. Smooth will adjust the algorithm curve to be more aggressive or more relaxed sounding.
Below the main controls is the soften section. The range knob allows you to adjust further the high frequency content of your cymbals in a very musically pleasing way. Amount, determines how much gain is being cut.
Profile
Up to five user profiles are available to be stored in each instance of DF-CLARIFY. Profiles can be saved to and loaded from a computer to allow users to import profiles into other sessions and share with other DF-CLARIFY users.
