1: bought 08/2013 device. Following the return of a festival or youtube recordings were of mediocrity foolproof for the best, I decided to take the bull by the horns and build myself my memories audio.
2: I've tried some other devices, the investment for this one is already considerable. But then I compared all range tops competing brands. The features I was looking for the recording quality, and resistance to high acoustic pressures (including bass frequencies). This device won the showdown hands down.
3: The feature I like most is the filters: possibility of 300hz and 100hz filter and room and another filter. Let me explain: I recently many evenings, festivals reggae and dub music (huge bass). So I needed a tool to capture it without saturating. The first record is Télérama Dub Festival, no settings, audio spectrum is calibrated to the highest notes (the bass here), while the rest is processed in the background (voice, acute, instru), with dialogues crowd present on the tape, not really the desired effect lol. Thereafter I used different filters: homogeneity of sound, loss of dialogues while keeping the live effect. Result on speaker amp, the beautiful lives to give the urge to throw in the trash all those purchased CD.
What I do not like about this product can be battery life, but I do not determined whether this was due to my occasional use (1 time per month), or the recording quality used. We also can not find the settings used on the files (ie taking notes paper, to compare the lives of office conditions), at least I have not found. In addition, it is no silicone cases to protect the device: hand sweat, not the shelter has a splash or a fall (damage to a product of this price) ...
4: Value perfect price so far, it perfectly fulfills my expectations when I said there perfect audio souvenir of my lives for me. I have not yet tested in Outdoor or on other types of music I listen to, rock and electro and rave, but it should. I did not either reversing the longevity of the product ... Knowing that I only use 25% of the product's capabilities (live recording), the rest on the studio work or composition.
