Boz Digital Labs has released two EQ plug-ins designed in collaboration with David Bendeth, the Hoser XT and its little brother The Hoser.
The Hoser/XT is the second result of David Bendeth’s collaboration with Boz Digital Labs, who both want to model rare and sought-after vintage hardware. Here, they chose to reproduce in the digital world the EQ section of a Canadian console, and to even enhance it in the XT edition.
Indeed, The Hoser XT offers three operating modes so you can choose to process the right and left channel separately or together (mono/stereo) or the Mid/Side parts of the signal, the latter was not available on the hardware. This edition also includes the mono/stereo only version.
Both plug-ins are designed to process any sound source and will be reasonable regarding CPU usage.
The Hoser/XT are VST 2/3, AU, RTAS and AAX plug-ins for Mac OS X and Windows. They are available for the introductory prices of $79 instead of $99 (The Hoser) and $99 instead of $129 (The Hoser XT). You can download a trial version of the latter from www.bozdigitallabs.com.
