Marshall 5215 Mosfet 100 Reverb [1986-1991]

Amp Mosfet transistors Fragile ..... it seems ... (jamma had a breakdown) I bought mine new in 1982, thus ... I think at the time 3800frs, ca I remember - )
100W enough for this type of amp, use simplele very original sound is correct caneaux a clean 2 1 full, but I do not use the preamp section, I return the attack directly to send the loop effect with Tubman H & K + effects, and so I used only the power amp (the mosfets) and then the sound is awesome! and I always pass jamma drown in the sound as it happens with all the amp models ...
Very convenient as compact (just casually lours) taille.Dire seen at one time I wanted to sell it !..... the east coast of € 150 .... me honestly I estimated € 250/300 € 400 but even I do not let go.
Not seuelement I would do the same choice, but if I find one I buy secondhand 2nd in a row (to enter the frenzy in stereo).
I'm not ready to sell it !....
I put 9 because the game pre-amp is not up to the rest ...
Good HP (celestial G12H-100). Too.
I really recommend it !.... I soupsonne one day to be a highly sought after amp with a rating will go up!

UTILIZATION

Configuration very simple .... no sukkah

No manual, no need!
8 because the mesh is achieved saturation with something else ...

SOUNDS

All kind of music .... yes except with electro acoustics, there is a disaster.
I play it with a lot of different guitars strato (mainly), PRS, Vigier, Lag, quality always by appointment ...
Clear sound not bad for a marshall, saturation is more original type marshall 80 years to grow its funds crunch ... .. not giant (in etrant the guitar direct to the amp)
The reverb is ok but not discrete and more ...
There's not much I do not like about this amp in the configuration or I use it .... it is little sound! who could ask more?
course of a scene of 50m ² outdoor facade would have to be transplanted in and returns to the Pub .... But it goes live you live you will hear no problem and the public too.

OVERALL OPINION

Buy early 80 ....... 25 years of age and not a failure! (I have to change a broken potatrd Medium in a benefits, but it's been eight years since I said it !.....

I have a Peavey Classic 30, I use the Marshall to work and frankly, I like it

SOUNDS

I get a very good with my strat crunch, pushing the volume and clean thoroughly by turning the master volume at 2-3. As against the coup.Mais not clean with what I play this not a big deal!
Add to that a whole series of effects and disto (TS9 among others)
Boost for the part, I try to have a saturation light, and such, I add my various distortion (TS9-fuzz-octavia-rat)

The clean is nice no more, and made to push the volume thoroughly clean adds warmth.

OVERALL OPINION

So I since 1995. Too bad the HP is in 4ohms because it delivers a nice round.
