100W transistor amp, 0 lamps. Two channels, one clean and overdrive, switchable via the button "Select Channel" or sold with the pedal. There's an entry "cd in" to watch a movie when your speakers are dead and a headphone output to not disturb the neighbors (stupid, taking a much smaller amp or preamp plugged into the PC). There's already some terrible effects on the amp, ie reverb, chorus, delay, chorus-delay (yes), and another super ugly effect.

So basic amp, nothing + nothing less.

UTILIZATION

So. We plug his guitar and we play basically that's it. To the question "Do you get easily a good sound?", The answer is no, no, not always. Even with all the goodwill in the world you can not do anything with this crap.

Otherwise, the volume of the effects loop I dropped two years ago. Ideal for the effects of type of shit amp, not able to do anything.

SOUNDS

ABOVE ALL, but then MOSTLY. That prospective buyers do not read reviews of this amp incensing shit. They are liars. We can not do anything to this amp. I mainly use an LTD EC-500 EMG 81/60 rise, and no sounds except for the feedback and harmonics.

I play mostly metal, but also rock, funk, pop. It is absolutely despicable. The clean is super flat and cold, forced to put the reverb so that it goes a bit. The equalizer is laughable, it only serves to switch from "low shit" to "sharp shrill". In crunch / overdrive, it goes a little better anyway, but it's still very unclear and ugly. Once you start playing a little arpeggio stupid looking open-hand, it makes a big commotion and no one picks up nothing. Even amp Vikernes Nocturno Culto or sounds better than that.

The worst part of this amp, if you switch the channel "clean" to "overdrive", volume increases with death alone, about 50% less! I'm always on your ass even 2 years later.

My solution, it was just to put myself on the clean channel and use a MT-2 pedal for distortion. Ben to play riffs in the bass is really horrible but it's still better than overdrive, but important not to try to play a solo or anything. Another thing, the sound is different depending on where you stand. Ideal

OVERALL OPINION

It's been 3 years that I have, I bought a friend who stopped the guitar. I have not tried much, and good, I took it because I played a small 10W, it was barely a year since I played.

The pros: if you always played on a transistor amplifier 10W, if you are deaf, or if you are just stupid, you will love this MG100DFX
The -: value for money horrible, its disgusting at all levels, super heavy, unreliable.

With experience, I do not do it again this election, normal. I'm saving now to buy a head ENGL Powerball with a lil practice Mesa, finally pro gear ...

PS: Leaving to put 200 + € in an amp, because you're tired of your little 10W, a tip: if you do not do concerts, buy yourself a tube amp 5W or 10W. Otherwise, opt for a modeling amp. And if you want an amp transistor, avoid using the infamous shit, Marshall and avoid if you want to play metal.
