USE

This is very far the best race I've tried Fender it is not as soft V on my strat US, but C has changes everything. It is ideal for rock and blues solos thumb on top. It is ten times better than the handle of a modern TV. I am surprised to read the comments that handle is initially droutant. They are not accustomed to the brand, it has been 20 years since I played Fender and I must say that I am happy to find the handle C, much conforatble the app V (for me, a fender must not be an Ibanez).
The guitar is heavy, but it's the solid alder and it's good because it's always a guarantee of quality (density of wood). Objectively it is heavier than a standard telecaster USA, but all the same has nothing to do with a les paul ...

SONORITS

I was saying that the sound palette is huge, double wide-range sounds very crystalline, it is a bit like survitamins simple and quiet (no hum). According rglage one can have a round very hoarse gibson fawn or otherwise typical fender slap sounds.
The output level is very lev and microphones have a lot of heat, which is quite rare Fender.
- The neck pickup is very round and powerful, it is very close to a Les Paul.

To sum up this guitar will satisfy both lovers lovers that Gibson Fender.
You can play the blues rock, rock 70's, funk and even jazz. I have never been as versatile guitar, but it is above all the bluesmen and rocker sduira it (it is unbeatable in this style).
Note that the guitar offers beuacoup sustain which is rare for a telecaster.

The guitar seems straight out of a time warp as it offers sound, feel, the look of the era.
A guitar worthy finish Custom Shop, I repeats it's better than what may offer telecaser American Standard, the more it is more versatile. If you play blues rock, classic rock, I suggest you take the TV 72 '. For the country, it will also thanks to its key maple that gives clean sounds good slamming on the bridge pickup. This is an ultra rac guitar that adds potato its typical telecaster and especially eliminates interference.
The finish is much better than my Fender Strat US, I love this guitar! I do not play with it and yet I have 7 other guitars!

USE

The handle C is super comfortable, much more than the handle of my strat V, access to desti- nations most recently boxes is super easy.
The guitar is pretty heavy, much more than my Gibson SG but it is a sign of the quality of the wood.
The sound is between a Gibson Les Paul (sleeve) and a telecaster (bridge), the middle position gives its open PRS.
This is a guitar for blues, rock and funk, it is superb in these styles, but is too typ played for the variety. So if you play in the ball rather buy a strat. If you play rock, take the TV 72!

SONORITS

Wide Range pickups (Mountains also by the Fender Custom Shop on some Jazzmaster)
- Add in the neck position a little roundness and depth to the sound of the very incisive telecaster. This results in overdrive sound very rac Santana or Neil Young Harvest period. It is very close to a Gibson Les Paul and more nervous.
- In the middle position, we get a very open sound, ideal for modern jazz, funk or fawn Purple Rain ride. We could compare a Prs example.
- The sound of the bridge pickup in clear channel is typically telecaster slamming and punchy. Saturated channel allows to go very far into saturation without losing precision, it is ideal for playing Hendrix.

Note that the microphones are very powerful and free of pests, which is quite rare for a fender. The potentiomtre is 250 K, we can replace it with a 500k but I did not because I find the perfect sound so I do not want to change anything on it.

NOTICE GLOBAL

In comparison with the TV 72 'strato my standard US ple parat well in terms of sonority (to the point that I no point in me) ... even my gibson SG is less race.
TV 72 is a race car, it makes no concession, either love or you dteste. If you like the sound telecaster, go buy it because the dollar goes up, if you are beginner or play the variety (blah) take a strat 'sound is happening everywhere.

A note that all pieces of the guitar are amricaines, only the assembly is done in Mexico, making it accessible.
Antipode of a guitar with an Ibanez and modern sounds crazy to Wha and fuzz face! It is perfect as an old zippo!

The guitar is beautiful and beautifully finished, it sounds better than my old TV standard US ... everything has in store for 1000 euros (I never buys on the net) 10/10

USE

Jazz, rock, blues, punk, no Mtal microphones are too hot for that.
Note that like all the telecaster guitar strings deserves 11/52 to extract all the richness of timbre.
The handle is the best I've tried either for or rhythmic solos.

SONORITS

The guitar has a lot more sustain than a standard Fender USA, picked up by the microphones Wide Range, this provides a very powerful guitar.

I hsitais between a les paul studio 100 euros more but rotten finish of the Gibson and his lack of character have stopped me. The seller orient me to this telecaster: love at first sight! the handle is a marvel. So I sold my standard telecaster and my strat, this guitar has become my companion ...

In the 70s when Fender wasnt doing so well they had to try and get guitar players loyal to other brands. This was their attempt to get some Gibson players over to the Fender side. This is one of the most unique Telecasters that Fender ever put out and it is one of my favorites. You can tell from the design that it has a more Gibson Les Paul orientation to it and that pretty cool. With this guitar you get an alder body with strat style contours on the back. The bolt on neck has the 3 bolt attachment with the microtilt adjustment. You get a once piece maple neck with a maple fretboard with 21 big frets. Up top you get the big 70s headstock which looks pretty cool on a Telecaster. The pickups are two humbuckers. They are Fender Widerange humbuckers from the 70s. The bridge is a strat style hardtail bridge so there is no uncomfortable ashtray on this guitar. The control layout is straight Les Paul with a volume and tone for each pickup with a 3 way toggle on the upper bout. The Walnut finish on this guitar is very vintage looking. Like a relic model with out the scratches. The black and sunburst models look brand new while this one looks like it could have been from 72.

UTILIZATION

The playability on these Deluxe models is nothing like a normal Telecaster. The neck is a bid wider and flatter than a normal Fender neck so they feel more like a Gibson. The frets are larger as well. The factory setup is nice and the microtilt adjustment lets you get a nice action up where the truss rod doesnt help. The microtilt is like a self shimming system. The strat style hardtail bridge is more comfortable in my opinion than the normal ashtray Telecaster bridges.

SOUNDS

The tone on this guitar is vintage but not Tele vintage. It isnt that much of a twang machine with the Widerange pickups but they have a bit of bite to them. They are hotter that the single coils that you would have gotten otherwise but they are by no means hot pickups by todays standards. They have a very vintage voice to them. This is probably the smoothest sounding solid body telecasters out there. The tone of the pickups is very p90 ish but with more bottom end. It does not have the telecaster quack that tele players may be use to. With the smoothness there is a bit of a loss of clarity in the tone. Overall there is a nice old school woody tone to the guitar. This guitar also has a great jazzy tone. It is very warm without getting boomy. The humbuckers in this tele give you unique tones that no other Telecaster has. This is a true period guitar with period tone.

OVERALL OPINION

They have been making reissues of this model for a long time and it is no surprise because it is such a great and unusual model. The normal Telecaster is such a one trick pony that not many people are able to use them for modern music. A model like this with humbuckers and full controls give the platform much more versatility to play all sorts of music. The Walnut finish is my favorite finish on this model as well. It has a very period look to go with the tone. If you are looking for a Telecaster that is something more and something different this is a good alternative to your typical tele.

Made in the states, maple neck bolted, 21 frets, 2 humbuckers, 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3 position pickups selector. The head has the same form as that of stratos '70.

UTILIZATION

For me, the handle is very nice, and I like C maple necks. I do not think the rosewood option is available.
Access to acute is that of a Telecaster: good.
The guitar is well balanced and easily obtained a good sound.

SOUNDS

For all that is blues, rock and jazz, it's great.
The pickups sound much clearer than with a grain of Gibson bite which is close to single coils while keeping the power doubles.
One module easily by playing with the tones and volumes.
I played on a Marshall JCM 800 and a Fender Twin Reverb.

OVERALL OPINION

I should have to buy it but I was not the tunes. The friend who sold it allowed me to play on for hours but at the time, I was a student and finance and it did not follow a stranger who has made the acquisition.
This is a great instrument!

UTILIZATION

The handle is nice for me: it's not too late (thick), which suits me because I'm used to a classical guitar neck.
In addition, the shape of the arch is that of a Stratocaster, I like to the Telecaster.

Good ergonomics, good access to acute. The sound is crystalline, it is a sound that I like that.
A alongside the pots, there is a reference to know the setting value, and that's good, it can be fine-tuning, especially for the tone.
For cons, the correspondence of the position switch is unclear, you have to test to see which mic is used (unless you have the habit of gibsons)

However, if you play the rhythm too nag (hem. ..) can peter a rope at the bridge.

SOUNDS

It should totally my style of music, the vendor advised me, after finding the sound of the TC 90 Thinline tros serious.
I have a marshall amp AS50R, mt2 pedal and a BOSS.

The sound ranges from highly crystalline (bridge pickup, tone 10) to the very round (neck pickup, tone 1)

Me my preference is to the lens, I discovered the opportunity in May with the sounds rounder.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had five months, I did some recording. Just before I tried a 90 Thinline, but having told the salesman that I found the sound too serious, he introduced me to this model which I hung.

Assets:
+ Adjusting volume / tone for each microphone
+ Handle end in not too thick
+ Butts strato
+ Super clear sound at the base
+ Walnut finish
+ The benchmark for each knob

Cons:
- Not very clear about the correspondence position switch / microphone used
- With a game very strong, it can blow up a rope at the bridge.

Good value for money, I would remake this choice for a first electric in this price range.

I do not return the Retailer CHARACTERISTICS (see posts previous ones).
Mexico manufacturing, mine is 2005, buy new.
I could compare with an original '73. From the perspective of violin and fittings, the Reissue has nothing to envy the vintage, however. The original is rputes for not holding the tuning ... mcaniques of m. .. easels and no better, frankly not the best PERIOD Fender, admittedly.
The particularity of this guitar is in the handle (of strata) and the pickups (2 humbuckers wide range).
The contacts of the three positions are slecteur plutt fragile. Word of advice, change ds as possible, or else when he has made me!

UTILIZATION

- Channel Saddle trs enjoyable playing with jumbo frets (a little larger than a stick tlcaster). Personally I love even if Access in acute phnomnal is not ... any fawn, I did not go so often that a.
- Fairly heavy, long one ends up feeling in the shoulders but it's even more lightweight than a Gibson. Ergonomics is good, it stands well against the hip, especially with the lgre dcoupe on the back of the body (another advantage over the original).
- For sound, has requested a little more research than other guitars sound particularly wide range can really Drout. Personally, to beginners, j'tais really their sound, too "dull" but with time and especially good rglages, I actually finally found the sound I was looking ever since.

My little mods:
- I replaced all the pots (volume and tone of the original 250k) with 500k more suitable for humbuckers and I really gained gain clarity and especially in the gnrale sound. CONTRL Incomprhensible that the Fender Wide Range of pots with 250k ... by economy, I suppose ... anyway it's much better now and my humbuckers are much more prsence, while keeping the sound close to the single coils.
- The height of the microphones also plays heavily in the balance gnral. To beginners, I had a Difference of level and between the two microphones prsence too large. The neck pickup, the well rounded, covered bridge over the microphone, really "asthmatic". Do not play with hsiter small screws on cts microphones for the sound. For me, this gives: neck pickup flush with cash, lgrement surlev ct acute and pickup dates back to more prs strings (about 2mm, but no more so as re not too kill the sustain)
- The studs microphones are adjustable, they allow, the APRS rglage gnral microphones, refine, rope rope ... important: the direction of the groove of playing on the field plots magntiques and can disrupt the oscillation of the strings, especially if the microphone is placed prs of them. Best rglage is to position the groove through, about 45 relative to the direction of the rope (this gives something like a: / \ / \ / \ or ////// or \ / \ \ / \ ...)
In short, it's a bit of work but in the end, the Wide Range Humbucker, Reissue version, are really not so bad that a and can end up easily find a pure sound "slamming" and "crystalline."
Finally everything is a matter of rglage and frankly this view rglages the "factory" of Fender DSIR really leave!

SOUNDS

Pre-rglages: dcevant, "soft", too dsquilibr neck pickup bridge pickup ok but not safe, compltement "enterrquot;.
- Aprsrglages, a real killing (or, conversely, nirvana). Crystal clear sounds or soft depending on SETTING THE Tone sounds slammin saturated fat or with a lot of depth, which do not go in all directions, not too aggressive. I played on a sound ToneLab + or a small Fender Champ 25 ... distortion level, I go through a Russian Big Muff and I really what I wanted. I think it's a guitar that sounds great in crunch and rpond although the attack and the game also L must vary rglages Volume / Tone according to what is wants ... leave everything blocked out of 10 is passing ct Wide Range of opportunities ... too bad. OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year and I have to fight to get the sound I was looking for without changing the pickups (see rglages) but now, nothing to regret.
Frankly, looking for a Deluxe or the original microphones Wide range of era in time, price or they are found now (on ebay, the microphone is around 200), it's really the DLIR: the reissue b NFIC a violin and a much better quality fittings. The Wide Range of origin (when they are not rinsed compltement ...) sound may be a little better (more EHJV and slamming) but with some of the reissues rglages n ' Phra frankly have not.

T say everything except the pickups (Fender Wide Range) are not the template of standard humbuckers. So for those who would change the pickups will prvoir changing pickguard too. Otherwise everything else it's tough.

Okay so I changed the knobs and splits the pickups, and then the good is carrment else. Well I've had 15 days, did not normment back but I think it my reserve of surprises.
This is a guitar to look for a tele plutt original, with its perfect for what I play but may be more versatile with a microphone in the least serious cabbage.
Question qualitprix report is more than adequate if you take the time to look for the best price, I bought Custom nearly new (6 months) less than 600.
And of course I would do the same choice, there is no photo, it's exactly what I wanted.

Handle much more than a Telecaster pais "standard" and a veneer that gives the impression of playing on the butter. Attention should try this guitar for a long time before you buy: it is not for all types of hands! For personal history, I fell in love with the scraper, and three to four months later I could not sack the because I could not get used to the handle. I play for me on a Fender 212FM, almost always on the clean channel (amp that I highly recommend any guitarist attracted by the cheap Fender clean sound for that matter) and frankly, I dbande not.

OVERALL OPINION

Dja I post an opinion on this guitar six months ago, and I reproached him in his era a "fade" and too big inning. For sound, we must believe that I did not play on the right amp - Fender rvle this because its potential on a good clean channel. I then Discoveries sound die for. UTILIZATION

Its handle C is just the most pleasant I know, I got adjusted immediately. Fingers glide over the maple like butter!
The ergonomics are very good and the body Telecaster reworked makes the game up very nice. In addition, the weight of the guitar is well distributed.
Access to treble is good but not exceptional, but that's not what you look for when buying a guitar like this, we forgive Satriani.

For cons, I had the displeasure to find that my rope acute middle of the handle out slightly, especially when performing bends on it. I discovered that the slot of the 6th string in the Nut was a big difference whatsoever in relation to whether or edge of the handle (the Tequila had to run freely on that day in the factory Fender Mexican ). However, installing a new nut is not expensive and I am the only user to complain of this defect.

Plugged into a Fender, Marshall or a Blackstar, the guitar is great.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for a year and a half after trying an American Telecaster, which lacked punch for my taste and a Gibson SG, which lacked precision in the treble. I was amazed from the first notes as she corrected the defects of these two models. Its versatility is very impressive while keeping a nice character.
I really like everything about this guitar, it is beautiful, not common, and sounds wonderful.
The price / quality ratio is exceptional and I would definitely do it again this election for a second!

The 72 Tele Deluxe is one of my favorite Fender Designs. In the 70s guitar makers were willing to take chances unlike anything before or after. They were coming out with new iconic designs not endlessly reissuing stuff. This tele is unique in the Fender world. t has more in common with a Les Paul than a tele and is very 70s in design. In the late 60s Fender was trying to compete with Gibson for a guitar that was good for hard rock music. The traditional singlecoils that Fender used in most of their guitars were not well suited for higher gain types of music and applications. Around that time Fender hired a guy who used to design pickups for Gibson. He made Fender a humbucking pickup to use in their guitars. This pickup was the Widerange pickup. The 72 Deluxe tele is very 70s in design. It has a neck similar to that of a 70s Stratocaster. It has the large 70s headstock which I like. It has the 3 bolt neck joint with the micro tilt adjuster. The Deluxe has a strat style hardtail bridge instead of the ashtray bridge because there are humbucking pickups in it. It has dual Widerange Fender pickups and a Gibson style control setup with a volume and tone knob for each pickup and a 3 way toggle to switch among them. Im sure many Telecaster traditionalists were mad at this design when it came out but this guitar was not made for them it was made for the modern player at the time who wanted a Telecaster that could do more modern sounds.

UTILIZATION

To go with the modern player concept this guitar had a flatter neck and bigger frets to allow more expressive playing along the neck. Old Telecasters have 7.5 inch radius necks which do not allow much of a good action at all. The Deluxe has larger frets than the stratocaster at the time and the fretboard radius is flatter. It has more of a Gibson type feel to it. Since this is a bolt on Fender guitar there is quite a large neck joint heel where the bolts are and this may get in the way of the higher frets. The 3 bolt neck is not a problem although some people hate it. It works just as fine as the 4 bolt ones did and with the microtilt you dont have to take the whole neck off to shim it. I think people just saw back in the day that it had one less bolt and assumed it was worse. I have seen guitars made by boutique makers that cost thousands and thousands of dollars that come with 2 bolt necks so dont tell me 3 bolts is not enough.

SOUNDS

The Widerange humbuckers would have been hot super modern pickups at the time but nowadays they fall into the vintage catagory like most other things from that era. They are hotter that the single coils that you would have gotten otherwise but they are by no means hot pickups by todays standards. They have a very vintage voice to them. This is probably the smoothest sounding solid body telecasters out there. The tone of the pickups is very p90 ish but with more bottom end. It does not have the telecaster quack that tele players may be use to. With the smoothness there is a bit of a loss of clarity in the tone. Overall there is a nice old school woody tone to the guitar. This guitar also has a great jazzy tone. It is very warm without getting boomy. The additional tone control lets you really shape the tone more than you could with a traditional tele. You can have the twang or bang with just the adjustment of the tone knobs.

OVERALL OPINION

This is such a great Telecaster design there is no wonder they have been reissuing it for a long time. People like me like the tele design but cant find anyway to use the tele sound. The one thing I would have changed if I was designing this guitar is I would have thrown away the amp knobs the guitar uses and put on some Gibson style speed knobs. There is no silly ashtray bridge here. It has a normal strat style hardtail bridge so it feels like a strat, and with the neck it plays like a Gibson. With this guitar you get a smoother more usable sound with the tele looks. And plus it has a big headstock. A big headstock makes everything better.

Mexico, as it is available in Mexican reissue (the original is 72, and is trading at around 3,500 E).

The handle is great, it was much easier to play on.
The interface is excellent (it is a hybrid tele / strato / paul).

about it, my father at that time (1969) was a telecaster, and had decided to file the back of the guitar body to make a échacrure at the hip, because after 5 hours it was a ball little sore, he was rotting from all the scratch. well this telecaster deluxe 72 'has the original notch, as a stratovolcano, one gains in ergonomics and comfort!

for access to acute, it's not the swords from Ibanez, but hey you never see Franz Ferdinand, Radiohead and, with Ibanez .... So for the treble, it will balance a little, and yes re can be reached easily.

Two weeks that I have;
yes, I tried many guitars, but I'm very attached to the thunderbolt, which was overlooked in a skyscraper, and there it was.
