i think evererything is correct for the price maybe need an unpgrade for the microphones.

UTILIZATION

I have not tried other models and have relied on the opinions found on the net. I wanted a Tele without a high budget.

What I like least: the varnish sleeve which has a small tendency to nab. But regular wiping with a damp micro-fiber lint solve the problem! Another small problem: the nut of the female jack unscrews permanently (read also also, I'm not the only one concerned!). No problem, there is a solution: tighten all well and apply a small brush stroke of nail polish on the junction thread / nut - it is sufficient to block the crew and does not preclude a subsequent voluntary unscrewing.

Construction, for the price paid is really good: the handle slides alone, frets do not grate ... This Tele holds good agreement (although do not seem mechanical upscale!). The varnish is very well done. Those accustomed to sophisticated and easels ropers do not worry about the "prehistoric" impression left by this equipment on the Vibe! it works very well and helps (maybe?) to its vintage of this beautiful caves.

The somewhat weak point of this guitar is the pickups. They lack a bit of signal strength (especially the handle which reflects an imbalance with that of the bridge), the single-coil are a bit noisy and pickup scrap too. But it will fit much so! For my part, I equipped Fender Texas Special. Great result! As for the mechanical, they seem a bit cheap, but the agreement is made, so they may agree.

In conclusion, this Classic Vibe is not a marvel in absolute as it can get much more expensive Fender U.S. factories. But relativity with respect to price, the Squier is a marvel.

If you do not want to spend a large sum but want a Tele that sounds like a Tele, go ahead without fear, you will not be disappointed. The price / quality ratio is excellent! The only point to check: the sustainability of its qualities after a few years. But less than 400 €, you can change his guitar every 20 years, right?

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month and so far I am very happy because for the price it's a great guitar.
I have a friend who has a Fender American Deluxe and if we except the level of finish that is far superior to the Fender, I have not found it had an objective justification to over 1000 € difference between the two guitars.
The value for money is excellent and it is gratifying that for this price you can have a guitar of this quality.
I definitely do it again this choice because I'm not at all convinced that it is necessary to pay the equivalent of one month's average salary for a good guitar. I believe that nothing can replace the work on the instrument and when it is reliable as is the case with this Squier guitar is really not an obstacle to the expression of the musician.

so I asked a few days ago the pickups Fender Vintage (Kit 52 &#39. Well, I'm pretty disappointed. To the point that I prefer the microphones origins ... true!
With the Fender 52 ', the sound is barely too medium and twang! Although the neck pickup is more punchy than the original VC, but it stops there.
The pickups sound origins definitely more "Telecaster" the 52 'mounted on the Classic Vibe ...
But I did not stay on this "failure", I asked two GFS pickups:

reproduce the 50 'to the bridge and vintage repro for the handle.
And then, magic .... This is exactly the sound I wanted Telecaster:
A very pronounced twang on the bridge position with brilliant and sharp-edged devoid of aggressiveness. Powerful bass not too round. The intermediate position is the typical sound Telecaster 2 position with more fishing and dug a little more midrange.
As for the neck pickup, it is halfway between the sound of a Start neck pickup and that of a Tele. The bass is strong enough and not too round, the medium is more accentuated than usually encountered on a Tele. The end is sharp and precise with lots of body.
Now, my Telecaster with GFS is perfect. Especially since I asked a four-position switch, which puts both pickups in series - perfect for sending the sauce ...

My theory on the bad deal Classic Vibe Tele / Fender 52 pickups' is that it is a matter of violin making. Besides, I do not see where that could come if! For a Tele 52 ', these pickups sound. Compared with its big sisters of Mexican and US origne, it takes them a candle!
It explodes the Mexican all series except the Baja. And it sounds better than the standard US. As for the finish, nothing to envy Fender - from all sources!!
If you look at the price, about € 310, it's even a case. No need to bleed you for a Fender Mex or USD. I was eyeing that first the side of the Baja, I regret the savings by purchasing this Squier.
