UTILIZATION

Once selected the appropriate power, and the input level selected, the clean channel is easy to understand, with the ability to switch a filter or a bright mid-sccop.

The high gain channel 3 is also simple, with a knob contour (scooped mids), and gain boost to trigger according to taste.

Channel 2 ets with the more complex three quite different ways, increasing gain, emulating the JTM 45 to JCM 900 (or 800 rather boosted). They react differently to gain settings-volume preamp, so a little research is needed.

The manual is clear, without giving any examples, but I would say that the amp does not address a total beginner.

SOUNDS

This is a very versatile Marshall. I plug a Strat, Tele, Gibson ES335, or Wolfgang in, their personalities are respected by the amp.

Overall, this amp delivers a very powerful dynamic sound, and sounds rich and expressive, fairly upscale.

1.The Clean channel is a very "hifi", and agrees well distortion pedals. The reserve is huge clear sound mode 50 or 100W ... The Celestion 200W internal demand also has to be manhandled to sustain this clear sound. HP a lighter as a Hot 100 improves the rendering at low volumes.

2. Channel 2 is the secret of this amp. A mode delivers clear sound very warm, which can bend in fine style by climbing the gain. Mode B must be the JCM 800 and it does not dishonor his model. Dynamics and the feeling of power I have marked the point of buying this amp after having sold qq years ago. I never found this potato elsewhere. This amp is a fairly unique quality.

-The clean is excellent, bright switch can help shape a more Bluesy. It is a little right, but quite usable and trs hot, a little crunch limit the Gain knob.
-The crunch is the showpiece of this combo. With no switch has been activated sound has the AC / DC was crying, with Gibson, is happiness. OVERALL OPINION

I utlise 6 years, he has 13 and still works! I jou over for 5 years and a half without reverb, and I had a Korg PX3 lying. I said, "is like a reverb ptite the inside?" I put all in the loop, the rglages is suitable, and presto! It sure is not a Holy Grail, but hey, for me it is more than enough, to embellish the basic sound.
I do it again this choice without hsiter. The only BMOL is the weight: 35 kilos the combo, I just back pain to say! I have a 6101 30th anniversary LM combo, black version.
so it's a 100w amp lamp (huge) with 3 channels: clean, crunch, lead.

clean: bright and mid shift button
crunch: how a, b, c (this gives a different rate of gain).
Lead: gain boost and contour (the hollow middle)

the crunch even monstrous, to the Led Zep's glory.
the clean to the marshall is great, better than fender I think (it more crunch, but not bcp).
So imagine handmade quality it was worth € 1,500 at the time Now it turns out that doccaz at SURROUNDINGS € 1000.
I've had in a great condition as new, with new lamps on the inside and the guy spun me still new replacement lamps. all for € 700 (1000 Swiss francs)

OVERALL OPINION

After much reflection, I came across the best amp I had ever tried (to my taste!) And at the best price. it's clear he has only HP, but I intend bought me a 4 * 12 qq option in time.

Overall, this amp trs powerful dlivre good momentum, and sounds rich and expressive, very upscale, especially on channel 2.
1.The Clean channel is a straight as an I, I got a little too, and may be lacking a bit of life, like a Vox or Fender. Its neutrality can be nanmoins apprcie in some styles, and accepts many of the distortion pedals. The reserve of the light is against standard mode 50 or 100W ... The clestion 200W internal demand has also to be live this Malmen clear sound.
