Amplification Type: Tube is the Valvemix ie 2 sets of lights: 2xEL34 and 2x6L6. Power is 50W when one set of LANP is enabled and 75 W qnad there are two.

UTILIZATION

The setup is classic and very easy ... no hesitation possible!
It was the sound on, the settings are effective. In less than 20 minutes we set the two channels to have its own "good sound", in fact all the rest of the time we "play" with the setting Valvemix a toy that is fabulous.
The manual is very clear. I think to have a basic understanding of the difference between the EL34 and 6L6 can help otherwise you will spend a little more time on it but in any case the "Basic Settings" are present in the manual, which may clarify the ideas.

SOUNDS

I play a little bit of everything with a preference for music with guitars (from Rock to Heavy through the Nu). I have a Lag rise Seymour (TB4 + Sh2) + Charvel in TB4.
This head is rather typical Rock and Metal (there are plenty of available gain), but extremely versatile all over the valvemix.
Rhythm channel with EL34 tubes only: split with TB4 + Bright triggered found all round, the character of the vintage clean channel with gain switching from a clean dry to a clean + épais.Très dynamic always clear and beautiful, beautiful.
Solo on the canal with EL34 only: TB4 position with double, I loved the overdrive / distortion without pushing the max gain (gain between 1 / 2 and 3 / 4): direct return in the 80 , Ratt, Dokken, Van Halen. Big fish, its fat, squat, notes solos well clear. Gain 1 / 4: Super Crunch with TB4 split, if you push a little more gain, it tends to the punk genre and the Red Hot ...
With 6L6, on the Rhythm channel: we see the difference is obvious, it's even how disturbing! : The clean channel is immediately brighter, less dull, with my split TB4 I removed the bright, the sound becomes more modern, but always right and always beautiful harmony.
Solo on the channel: gain 1 / 4, the sound is clear but boosted (where earlier he Crunchant with EL34!). If you push the gain to death (I can tell you that there is gain!), and there égua V-boom! The big modern sound of 6L6, mega punch, sharp, very precise, the black album of his era Metallica. Basically all the 90s to now.
And all this with not a breath or quack! no noise when feathered Valvemix!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month and do I fell for this amp? and yes! Tank at the beginning by actually having two different sets of lamps in the same head, I expected to sound Avranches means a compromise, well no! I was simply amazed! In fact you have just two heads in a high-end and then I say bravo and thank you Brunetti dealer who made me discover!
I bought it at Pi-amp, the price is ridiculous compared to the quality of the head and especially compared to the competition which has remained far behind.

The config is super simple! No need to be an engineer to fix it, it was soon sound that does.
To really get sound is still battling a bit.

The only drawback is that you choose lol: a super clean or super distortion ... For now I have not found a setting to have the 2.

SOUNDS

The distortion is very BIG, very typical metal.
The clean is really beautiful and crystal-clear with a scratch single winding. By pushing a little gain is obtained a fabulous crunch, well rounded.

Then come and Valvemix! Great invention! On the one hand for the 6L6 cleans even more beautiful and the other for the EL34 distortion greasy.

This amp is really versatile ultra!

Frankly awesome!
Well you have to put the price but honestly it was a receiver that can be maintained even in a life style change. The store that sold it to me I picked up my old stuff, in the end I had to € 900 from my pocket. But in the end I end up with an amp well above marshmall, fender, vox etc ... Tip: Invest!

We are witnessing an all-tube amp head two channels available in two versions:
- Valvemix, which has the distinction of offering a set of 6L6 power tube in and another EL34, delivering a power of 50W or 75 when the two sets of lamps operate at 100% (Valvemix a knob of 12)

For myself I chose the version valvemix.

Level settings were:

équalos already are very effective, the stereotype of mediums really dug into the general nawak here, your sound will be a priority with the Valvemix and presence, you Equasis will place you in a group (for those who still thought that it was used something else ...)

To return to the presence control, the more you turn the gain, the longer it will raise the risk of presence you end up with a dull sound and very compressed.

A very good point for the master volume knobs, where often the past 12 amp is already quasi-block, here it is progressive and effective throughout the course (it's weird to end up with a master when a 12 you usually do not exceed 9 am, but if you push beyond There's something to kill everyone at 2km round )

Well, its level is not necessarily one a pass, even if it has a great versatility, I am fairly convinced by the crunch, whether that of the clean channel pushed to block the channel or saturated with little gain even EL34.

Instead, we are dealing with a very good clean channel and an excellent channel that will easily saturated the large rock to the heaviest metal.

For attention against the cabinet you use, sell Brunetti's in Jensen speakers, as you really feel that it is designed to go with the Celestion (although available as an option) may not be a party.
I currently use a 4x12 Celestion V12 standard ENGL-60, and even if the result is quite large we feel that it lacks a little something, I'll replace it with a 2x12 (a little history to spare my back) Jensen C12K in which I pair a little later a second 2x12 (identical) or 1x15 (which is to do with HP, an amount Brunetti Jensen Neo 15-150 speaker in 1215).

Finally, the grain is quite unique, it could be positioned somewhere between Marshall (for growl) and ENGL (for accuracy).

Finally, I opted for a cabinet with a single Tubetown ElectroVoice EMV12L Black Label (Zakk Wilde signature) and I must say that had I not been convinced of the association Celestion / Brunetti, there I am filled, This really allows HP to get the max of my amplifier, grain, precision, warmth, presence, bass, ... everything is there, better than the Jensen.

After six months of intensive use I am really pleased with my purchase, I now have a sound that arises though as a group. I stalled the valvemix has halfway lead to the gain 3 / 4 and with the EV gives me a sound that is really a good mix of sound and sound brit California, so eventually between Marshall and Mesa (but that JVM JCM 800/Mark IV / Front).

I have not touched the lamp, just a Tung Sol in V1 Ecc803S history to win a little gain, EV tends to blur a bit.
